Props to your Buckeyes CC. They played a very good game.
Day later, Media will tear down what Texas has done here because it doesn't fit the BCS agenda. At the end of the day, this was a great game, one of the all timers IMO. Colt McCoy is the best QB in the nation and it's a shame that nobody gets that.
USC beat this OSU team but they didn't beat them with Wells or Pryor. This was a completely different team then what USC saw earlier in the season. Media will point to USC and say that USC dominated this team, which they did. However, the Media said that USC with Leinart and Bush would dominate Texas an Young ran all over them. Texas played well agaisnt OSU. OSU, as many have mentioned, has an excellent defense. 7th ranked in the country and 6th ranked scoring defense. Texas had Pryor defensed on several occasions but he's so talented. He just made plays. It's hard for me to say that Texas didn't play well, defensively, against OSU. I think that they did play well. They gave up some things to Wells in the running game but that, IMO, is because they wanted to make certain that Pryor didn't beat them. It's all relative I suppose.
Those who think that Texas could have some how gotten a share of the NCS by winning the AP poll are probably not being very realistic. Texas had nothing to gain in this game and everything to lose.
I think it's unfortunate that we finally get a great bowl game, which is what all the fans cry for every season and all it will do is probably hurt both teams who played in it.
Great game Buckeyes. Great season Horns!
