The post-season college all-star slate wraps up this weekend with the Texas versus the Nation in El Paso. Practices wrapped up late yesterday, while the game itself is scheduled for Saturday at 11 AM ET. Unfortunately, the game will not be telecast nationally, but will be available on cable on the CBS College Sports Network. And its unfortunate that the game won’t get more exposure as the line-ups in El Paso feature a number of solid second-tier prospects for the 2009 draft including QBs Curtis Painter of Purdue, Mike Teel of Rutgers, Drew Wiley of Buffalo and New Mexico State’s Chase Holbrook; RB Devin Moore of Wyoming; OTs Dallas Reynolds of BYU, Gerald Cadogan of Penn State and Arkansas‘ Jose Valdez; DE/OLB Ian Campbell of Kansas State; and CBs Joe Burnett of Central Florida, JahI Word-Daniels of Georgia Tech, Londen Fryar of Western Michigan and Tony Carter of Florida State. Meanwhile, former Virginia Tech RB Branden Ore, who played at West Liberty State last fall, and Alcorn State LB Lee Robinson head the contingent of small-college players. Here are the full Texas versus the Nation rosters.
