Texas vs UTEP

I was at the game today... and Mack did call off the dogs early...

McCoy was pretty good, but this is UTEP. Shipley is a really smart and talented player. I think he could have a career in the NFL...

They put the great QB from Lake Travis, Garrett Gilbert in in the third... this kid is phenomenal... he looked better than Colt...

He has a bright future for the Horns...

Note to people that get drunk and sit in my seat at the games then get belligerent when asked to move, followed by threats, F-bombs and GD's around families... you were about 5 seconds away from the most embarrassing day of your life. Thank the people behind us that waved over security... it would not have ended well for you... arsehole...

Talk about mixed emotions... I'm an avid Horns fan, but I actually went to UTEP...

I expected a rather easy win for UT, but that was just about the worst domination I've ever seen in a college game... 640 yards of total offense, the defense allowed 75 yards... the score would have been in the 70s but for a late fumble into the Miners' end zone by one of the benchwarmers...

Yeah, I'm an old Miner, but I did enjoy watching the Horns play that well... Colt seems to be over the flu...

Wasted field position there I just dont know about this Texas team. Just not looking sharp this season.

They're now 4-0, have outscored their opponents 198-61... that's 49.5 points per game to 15.3 points per game, or an average winning margin over 34 points per game...

They're averaging 521.3 yards per game, more than double their opponents' 209.5 ypg...

How sharp do you want them to look, pal??

I have never understood why folks go to ball games to get roaring drunk... I go to see the game, and I really want to experience the game atmosphere...

Then again, I've never understood folks who brink a cooler full of beer to the golf course... all they do is get drunk, then they start playing bad, then they get pissed off...

If you wanna get loaded and watch a ball game, do it at home... less chance of winding up getting arrested that way...

UTEP actually had a couple of nice players... it wasn't that bad...

They gave the Horns a much better game down in El Paso last year... to me, they looked intimidated...

Price is an idiot. Ok, we all knew UTEP had no shot. That QB sucks donkey hiney. I knew there was a reason I hated him. He beat Judson for the State Title a few years ago. I was at that game with my bro. I am not a fan of Euless Trinity.

Anyway, back to the stupidity that is Price. His RB, was basically the entire offense yesterday. That kid had 2-3 long runs.....by long, I mean he got 10+ on the run. The kid hardly got the ball. I know Texas was blowing them out, but when the game was still close, why not try and establish a running game and some ball control? Why not try to keep the potent UT offense off the field? Why not let this kid run his butt off?

I feel Price made a huge mistake by not getting the ball to this kid more. In the 2nd half, once the game was over, why not practice their running game. It is afterall, how they beat NMSU. The passing attack was going nowhere. Moturi was completely shut down.
