Because he has a mentality of bargain bin shopping and never addressing team needs via free agency and I don’t mean with big ticket players. When that’s your philosophy you make the draft, which is not an exact science and tough even harder.

I have a decade of this as evidence. The cowboys have drafted pretty good but when that’s your only vehicle you use to add elite talent- you get marginalized returns. Beyond that when he talks, there is a clear disconnect between where the franchise actually is and where he thinks they are.

That is not any more than liking one's own version and misapplying principals of team. Ever played in college...how about in bowl games? You still haven't entered any discussion on topic presented in abundance beyond lame less expecting to just accept your crap as valid. Run along and play in the street...burden is on your crap loads.

Legendary as in if the Cowboys draft me, I will get a 2nd and 3rd contract that will break NFL records, whether it is deserved or not!

Mmmmm world salad….it always tastes so good and usually after someone has no valid points to make so they post it with a side of a picture.

Btw….jerry doesn’t need to sign the highest paid or top paid players. You can however sign middle tier players - it doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

The Cowboys have now signed three external free agents on the offensive line with the addition of Adeniji, joining Saahdiq Charles and Robert Jones from earlier points in the offseason. Talk about strengths that have been added as to actual roster building before camp and practices...
 
If we select Matthew Golden I hope its not at 12 and its after we traded down to say the 20's or later.

I'd like the trade with the Steelers to get Pickens and draft at 21 and maybe get Hampton or whoever they want.

If T-Mac was taken by the Cowboys in the 1st round and Golden was still available in the 2nd round or visa versa, would you want to take both?
