tfydraft:Cotton Bowl: LSU vs Texas A&M

Have say I wasnt impressed with neither of the two. Watched the entire game as it was first chance to watch both Miller and Peterson. I have to say, I think they are being overhyped...right now. After his performance in the Cotton Bowl, I wouldnt draft Peterson in the top 10. IMO, he looked more like a Michael Jenkins, 15-30 pick than a Top 10. Take the best player on the board, and that could mean going DL, or drop down to the bottom end of the Draft and go OL.

I watched the game last night and I also TIVO'd it. I will watch it again but as of now, my opinion on Peterson hasn't changed. I didn't see anything that was all that impressive. He played OK but I saw nothing that would make me think he is a can't miss CB. I still see him as a FS, especially if he checkes in at 220.

Thats what I've been thinking too.

You'll have to excuse my bluntness. Im fighting with insomnia right now, so i tend to be on the cranky side ha.

No offense intended.. i apoligize.

Not a problem, happens to everyone. Get some sleep! :D

I watched the game and paid attention to both players. I wouldn't want to base my opinion on that particular game, as Peterson didn't have his best outing. LSU just tore it up, as Jefferson played lights out at QB and their little CB #14 ( a freshman, I believe) had a monster game. Both players are talented and both will have pro careers. Miller had a decent night, but Miles found a way get past the Aggie's Lb's. It was entertaining, but LSU just wanted it more.

I doubt he'll be interested in playing FS unless he fails for a few years at corner. I say this without knowing the kid, but youth and ego being what it is...

You may be right. Much will depend on who drafts him and how they see him in the NFL. He may not want to sign with the team that drafts him but if he actually does weigh in at 220, I can't imagine him staying at that weight in the Pros. I don't know. I guess we'll see.

I don't think it matters where he's intersted in playing. If a team drafts him and pays him millions of dollars, he'll play where he's told, ya kno?
