Simply and briefly, I always give Romo all the credit. But I have to give some props to my boy Jason Witten. He has been shattering records and making history and it has been fun to watch. At this time of year, it seems we tend to think of the future.. as in how much can we add to my team by acquiring new and better talent. I just wanted to give a shout out to a current player, Jason Witten. That guy has kept it fun to watch over the years. This last year was amazing for him and it kept me true to being a fan because he's so good he made me believe we could win. We hate on our team a lot, but at some point you have to like our players. Players like Witten dominate a game of prominent football players. We are speaking of the NFL. So thanks for playing at such a high level and keeping me excited as a fan, Jason Witten.

If you had one current football player to thank, who would it be?

Oops, I meant to put this in the main forum.

D. Ware. He's battled and given everything for this team. And he seems to be an exceptionally good person off the field.

Dez Bryant, he is becoming the heart and soul of this team!

the hydration technician, without him, the team wouldnt be able to compete.

Personally, it's really Tony Romo. He keeps us in the majority of games. We're a 5-11 team at best without him.

It's Tony Romo for sure. We would be so much worse without this guy thanks to Jerry and his awful handling of that position.

Marcus Spears got my cat out of a tree last August. Too bad he's not with the team anymore. I can't really think of anybody else.

I think some are taking this thread too seriously. Its just thanking a current playing or appreciating what they do on the football field. I thank Dez for continuing on the path of maturity on and off the field.

thank you Stephen Jones for finally having someone with some conviction in the FO to make comments that should be motivating to players (i.e.: calling them out when they aren't performing)

Thank you Dez Bryant. Allowed me to win a bet with a friend on who would have more TD's between Dez and A.J Green.

=)

Also a shout out to Kevin Ogletree, for doing the things that he did. <3

I realize that some of you lack the emotional fortitude to allow any Cowboys fans to be happy .. about anything .. but I have had enough of the trolling.

There are plenty of other threads where you can spew your hatred and get your pat-on-the-backs from the same people who give it to you every time that you don't need to troll every single thread on this site.

I would highly recommend those of you trolling the hate to watch your step and that includes sarcastic and insincere comments.

Sean Lee. He is becoming the leader of the defense, lunch pail mentality

If Lee can stay healthy for an entire year, I would agree. I'd have to go with Dez. Just for him seeming to start maturing. He has all the tools to be the best WR in the NFL..

Thank you, Dan Bailey.

He did a good job and helped the team win games. I'm not sure of his stats, but I think he just missed to field goals?

Thanks Romo for playing hurt, for working so hard to get this offense and team back on the map, for dealing with the media and fans who don't appreciate your efforts, for staying focus and dedicated to the process. Its gonna come together soon, thanks for staying the course.

Demarcus Ware should get some props for the end of last season. And Jenkins for the end of 2011.

I'll second that. Well put.
