I can't believe I am going to say this, but thank you Jason Garrett. Thank you for being the first guy since Jimmy Johnson to seemingly put a plan in place and push your agenda forward with an owner that is extremely involved. Essentially, putting a 3-year plan together together and sticking to it. Props to Jason Garrett

Thank you Brandon Carr for being an emotional leader in the locker room and on the field. We haven't had a leader in the secondary since Darren Woodson (maybe Roy Williams).

I have met quite a few players from the Jimmy SB era. And over the years I have developed something I say toi them just to let them know I appreciate their effort. I do not ask for autographs since i don't give a whit if anyone knows i met them or not. But I do tell them this.

Thank you for the Super Bowl wins. It meant a great deal to me.

They seem to appreciate that a great deal. Nate Newton was very pleased with that.

Tony Dorsett said, you're welcome and I think he meant it. He smiled about it. Obviously Dorsett was not with Jimmy.

Nice approach. I'm sure players appreciate folks who simply thank them for what they've done instead of gimme, gimme, gimme...

Simply and briefly, I always give Romo all the credit. But I have to give some props to my boy Jason Witten. He has been shattering records and making history and it has been fun to watch. At this time of year, it seems we tend to think of the future.. as in how much can we add to my team by acquiring new and better talent. I just wanted to give a shout out to a current player, Jason Witten. That guy has kept it fun to watch over the years. This last year was amazing for him and it kept me true to being a fan because he's so good he made me believe we could win. We hate on our team a lot, but at some point you have to like our players. Players like Witten dominate a game of prominent football players. We are speaking of the NFL. So thanks for playing at such a high level and keeping me excited as a fan, Jason Witten.

:starspin

If you had one current football player to thank, who would it be?

Oops, I meant to put this in the main forum.

Witten would be my choice as well. I watched him play with the TN Vols and couldn't believe Dallas got him in the 3rd round.

Thank You Doug Free for causing me to get into fights with my 49er fan fiancee about your play causing her to state in week 4, and I quote "Wow, you would think that they would replace him by now, he just can't seem to block for Romo" and "Is that Free guy still starting? How is that possible?"

In seriousness, I thank Romo for having the grace and moxie to deal with all the haters (10th hated player in Sports? Really?) even though he has never abused any women (Roethlisberger) or done drugs/PEDS (Commander du jour). Fans will rue the day you are gone and rivals will breathe a sigh of relief.

If you cannot beat the man, then try to make his confidence and life crumble and implode from negative PR campaigns.
