But most important, I can't freaking dislike you cause you look like a loveable grandfather. This feels like a divorce. Painful and sad and yet I rejoice at all future possiblities...

I'll miss you buddy, the wisecracks, instilling a sense of discipline, character, talent, even though you didn't finish what you set out to do, you've returned the competitive spirit to Dallas, structuring a very good talent base for the next coach to carrry on, you are many things: psycophant, control-freak and yes, sometimes a major a-hole, but in my opinion you are a great coach and even greater judge of talent, I sat there when you cried, w/ tears in my eyes, that PC immediately following beating the Panthers in '03, "you can't call them losers anymore", damn straight Bill, thanks to you, we're not losers anymore, I for one, appreciate what you did in Dallas, and am sure I'm not alone, not by a longshot, so in closing, thanks for at least trying, and caring about these Dallas Cowboys! cheers to you Bill
