Irving should get the majority of snaps at left defensive end from now on. Move Crawford(if healthy) back inside where he is much more effective. Irving was like a man amongst children. That was one of the most dominant displays I have seen in a long time. If they move Irving back inside, they are stupid.

As dominant as he was, he clearly took some plays off. He looked tired. Maybe that's what the coaches see and that limits his playing time.

He looked tired? Really? Holly cow. Even more reason to play him because he disrupted every single one of the last 12 plays all while he was tired. I would rather have him sucking wind then Crawford with a fresh motor.

I'm with you. Part of the fan experience. Yeah maybe the kid goes on to disappoint. But maybe the early excitement makes later disappointment worth going through. And maybe, just maybe, he doesn't disappoint after all. In that case the early excitement is fully vindicated. All seems to add up to a decent reason to get a head start on the excitement.
