As the SD KC game is winding down, Andrea Kramer, in her studly little voice, said something to the effect of - All week building up to the Dallas Philly game the main subject will be, "TO spitting in the face of DeAngelo Hall." Then she goes on to say she spoke to the NFL front office and said they will review it like they do every incident involving player behavior... She goes on to say don't rule out a suspension either...

Madden comes in right after her and says along the lines of - The game coming up this week is not about that. Next week's game is about playoffs, and the Eagles and Cowboys, and rivalries, and winning your division. So on and so on in Madden's low grumble love voice.

Hell Yeah John Madden!! All Madden left out was "Boom, Take that soap opera back to daytime TV Andrea!!"

Thank you John!!;)

Has anyone ever been suspended for spitting?

If TO is the first and gets suspended for this particular game, it will smack of conspiracy.

Why do they even have these sideline reporters? They offer nothing! Most of the time they talk about crap that the REAL fan could give a crap about. I really don't care about where Romo grew up or who his 2nd grade teacher was, etc. etc, blah blah blah. WHO CARES!?
Tell me why the other team is running the coverages they are or why the line stunts are being picked up now by the O-line. Talk about that stuff and maybe you'd be worth a darn.

Yeah he was pretty much scolding the media for the way it's focus is always on the negative.

Bravo JM bravo. It will fall on deaf ears but good to hear it from a member of the mainstream media nonetheless. There are too many positive things about the game of football to always put the focus on the turds.

Thats what Kramer was talking about. The new commish might make an example out of TO. Hopefully it does not happen, and I agree with others that having TO in the game against his old team makes for good hype.

Go Cowboys!!!

It will be pure anti-Cowboy hogwash if TO is suspended, apparently it was so subtle no camera caught it and they monitor him like he's on security detail.

It was such a big deal that the sideline reporters NFLN didn't hear anything about it before halftime.

Does anybody know of a precedent re T.O. spitting on someone's face?

Did Romanowski get suspended maybe 8 years ago?

If Romanowski did not, T.O. is probably home free. Maybe.

Imagine if TO had denied it, would there be an investigation:rolleyes: Would a commision be assembled to evaluate the truth "Did you spit?".

Normally I would just expect a fine. But TO is TO. He'll never escape his rep.

Romanowski was fined and he did far dirtier things wothout suspension, Sean Taylor was fined in the playoffs last year, TO should not be suspended and if they can't find tape of the incident they should ask themselves how big a deal it truly is.

Actually no one has ever been suspended. Last season Sean Taylor was ejected from the game and fined but he was not suspended.

Romoasski also spit on JJ Stokes. Fined, but not suspended.

I think Owens will get a fined of about $25K but will not be suspended. THey dont even have tape of it.

We can go on and on about how disgusting and disrespectful his act was, and of course it was, but the bottom line is he will get fined and play on Christmas day.

I even expect a formal apology from T.O. to Hall because JJ doesnt want a classy organization hit with a black eye like this one.

T.O.'s act has basically gave him a first class ticket out of town next season but for now, he's the best we got.

No one would have believed him. All the cameras on the sidelines would have been turned inside out looking for a photo or footage of it happening.

I disagree, as much of a headache we perceive him to be we do not know where BP stands on it. JJ loves Divas that is why we hung on to AB for so long and Lets not forget Irvin's extra cirricular activities. I can't even remeber the last championship team that had a team of all angels. TO and his ilk are indicative of todays sports today overpaids, sometimes overhyped, primadonnas. And owners and coaches are under extreme pressure, especially storied franchises, to put a winning product on the field.
