Witten may have gotten the first down or may have been short. The point is he was called on the field with a first down and there was no ****ing conclusive evidence that he didn't get there. That was a referee making a call inspite of what the replay showed.

I don't like to blame the officials... especially when we have a chance to win the game. That said, they were atrocious and one sided. That PI on Newman that spotted the ball on the 1 was a game changing play. Yes we held them on 4th down, but it also pinned us in bad field position making the fumble by Glenn possible.

I counted at least four bogus calls against the Cowboy, not including the Witten reversal. I think that wasn't a poor reversal on the refs part.
