didn't SF play Seattle last week, high school teams could beat them

New overtime rule, both teams get a shot with the ball, so it's better to play defense first in overtime because if you stop them, you get the ball back in good field posiiton and if the other team scores(3 or 7), you know what you need and will use all four downs every series if needed.

Sure Seattle isn't all that good, but what about our D vs the Jets last week. I think we did pretty good against a SB favorite as well.

Overtime is still sudden death. The only time it is not sudden death is if the team with the ball first kicks a field goal.... So giving them the ball first is pretty stupid if they score a touchdown...

I wouldn't go so far as to call them idiots. I think many can be misguided and believe that their talent judgement is on a professional level.

If there are things that we THINK are true, then it probably isn't the best idea to make statements in absolutes. It's bound to come back and bite you. Nothing wrong with stating our opinions, though. After all, that's one reason so many frequent this forum.
