so, i thought the topic here was our D? ive been very impressed, they pounded us early with the run, but we held up pretty well, i think frank gore averaged less than 3 yards a carry! very nice job by rob ryan and the defense! me likes his work so far!

Looks like that Rob Ryan knows how to make the absolute most of Ware's abilities.

Ryan's defense is going to look really bad from time to time when Ryan guesses wrong and the offense has the right play on. The defense isn't going to be consistent on a play to play basis .... But overall, they are looking pretty decent. ... especially given the CB injuries ...

Duh, the Jets offense is horrible. Nobody told them on their way to two straight AFC title games though.

The Jets don't have a bad offense, but nobody is confusing them with the Pats or Saints.

Our defense is doing a good job getting after the QB. One area that has to improve, though, is 3rd down defense. We're allowing almost 50% for the season. That's not good. I know we're nicked up in the secondary, and that may have a lot to do with it. Still, it needs to improve.

considering how deleted our secondary is, im proud of how the defense has played. not sure if we would have put up this much fight last year under the same circumstances. in fact i know we wouldnt have.
