I believe the race will be between Dallas and Washington...

I don't know, I think Washington is not that good. Their D improved but they still aren't as good offensively. Campbell is not accurate and will make mistakes under pressure which wasn't there for most of the time tonight.

Well, wouldn't say 6-0 is a given. Anything can happen in the NFL week to week, ask the Saints.

This is how I see their record shaping up:

NYG @ WAS - NY hasn't shown me enough this year, give this to the Skins
DET @ WAS - I wouldn't underestimate the Lions, but I think the Skins pull it out
WAS @ GB - The Packers aren't an easy walk in any way. I think Favre pulls it out
ARI @ WAS - Who knows with the Cards in town. I'll give it to the Skins.

I think 5-1 is very possible. In looking at the Skins schedule, the only difficult games I can forsee are at NE and hosting Chicago.

And us, of course. :)

Campbell better step it up if they are to win 3 out of the next four. He has been pathetic. Detroit and Green Bay are not pushovers this season. The Giants should put up a nice fight next weekend. I'd be surprised if Washington finishes better than 4-2 after 6 games.

I don't care what anyone thinks I don't really see the Cowboys losing alot of games this year. We're gonna beat Chicago, then we're gonna come home and beat the Rams. And I don't care where the game is played... we beat the Bills. Then MAYBE we lose a CLOSE game to the Patriots.

5-1.

The only time I will ever Thank the stinks, is if they are 0 and 15, and they beat one of the other NFCE teams to keep them out of the playoffs. :)

Neither team was impressive ! Jason Campbell is not a good QB yet...not even close . He certainly has that potential , but has a long way to go . The Eagles have nothing on offense aside from Westbrook , and McNabb looked finished last night . I don't understand how anybody can look at this Skins team and say they'll go 6-0 . Like the Giants and Cowboys , these two teams have their share of problems and the NFC East will be tight race all year .

I'm betting that over at Extremeskins, a huge amount of them are now declaring that the Skins will win the division and have Super Bowl asperations! :laugh2: Of course I called this win already. McNabb's career is over. The guy can't stay healthy and gets rattled under pressure. The Eagle's offensive line isn't what it used to be, so the pressure is on meaning McNabb won't be. I bet the Commanders are talking about how good their defense is too. Of course the two teams they have played have a combined ranking of 44. (Dolphins 24 and Eagles 20) Both in the lower half of the offensive spectrum.

I agree. The Commanders haven't shown to dominate anything yet. They have played two teams, both are 0-2 and both are looking like they arn't even going come close to making the playoffs.

The Skins defense has improved this year.

Has it? Hard to tell considering they are playing teams that have major issues on offense. It's like saying the Browns have the best offense in the league because they where able to score 51 points and no other team has done that. How about we hold off until they played a proven high powered offense. They get to face the Giants (twice), Patriots, and Cowboys twice. If the Giants can get their running game moving, they will drop points all over the Commanders defense.

Man, if the Skins and Boys could keep this up, it will make the last game of the season really interesting, either for the division title or a wild card spot.

I for one really appreciate that we won't play the Cowboys this late for once. Over the last couple of years that matchup came way too early in the schedule when neither team had really had a chance to gel ye.

Could be very interesting down the stretch.

It's worth nothing that the Cowboys play basically the same schedule, but alot of their more difficult games are earlier in the schedule.

A portion of the Cowboys' and Commanders' schedules are the inverse of each other. That is, the Skins (& Eagles) play @ Green Bay, Minnesota, New England & NY Jets, while the Cowboys (& Giants) get those teams at home. Dallas & the Giants plays @ Miami, Buffalo, Detroit & Chicago, while Washington & Philly host them.

Aren't the Giants playing @ Miami via London? Thanks NFL. Two years ago they get road game at home, now they get a road game at a neutral site.

Skins lose to the Giants. Plaxico will own thier DB's
Skins lose to Detroit. Roy Williams and Calvin Johnson? Against Smoot and Rodgers? I think both wideouts will have a foot in height over each one.
Skins lose to GB. Favre will find a way
Skins beat Arizona. Cause they're Arizona.

Skins 1-3 in thier next 4.

I hope you're right.

I don't know what the Skins are going to do, but assuming they are about to go undefeated or 4&1 with a rookie QB and 2/5 of their starting O-line out doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Plus, the Giants are going to win sometime and I could see them doing it against a Skins team that will probably be too full of itself this week.

To me, the Commanders look pretty tough. Granted, their QB play is going to be inconsistent, but their defense looks good again. I don't care who they've played, you can see the improvement by watching the game. Their flying all over the field and getting mutliple hats on the the ball carrier. I also like the way their disguising their defense. Last night, they had McNabb rattled. And how about the play where Landry lined up on the right faking a blitz and then sprinted back down the field to nearly get a pick? That guy impressed me a lot last night.

As for their offense, it's old school NFC East football. Gibbs has taken control again and is playing smash mouth football while taking a deep shot now and then. To be honest, that's really smart football for them. Campbell is simply managing the game and occassionally taking a deep shot, which with his arm he can do.

The good thing is, if we put up points on them, I don't think they can beat us. I don't think they can get in a shoot out and expect to win. But I expect them to play grind it out football all year long and be in every game come the 4th quarter. If they turn it over, they'll lose. If they don't, then they have a great shot at winning. Just my .02.

Personally, I don't hate the Skins(Throw stones at me, but Joe Gibbs has always been one of my all-time faves).

Regardless, it's the EAGLES that are threat, so the more early losses the better!

i dont like the Skins either, but i HATE the Eagles. big difference.
