1) NY-KC game even further highlighted the fact of how inexcusably BAD our running game is. Sure our RBs share some blame, sure our OL shares a LOT of blame, but I think NY was able to do a lot more with not a lot more tools, and that's coaching/scheme and playcalling.
2) Eli looks like Harrington. He's been awful. Good thing they have 3 giant WRs (Shockey being the 3rd). Eli is terrible. I thought he was awfully overrated coming out. Not saying he'll never be good, but he sucks right now.
3) Tiki is the most underrated player in the league. I can't stand him, but he's carried NY all year...and he's done that for a few years now.
4) LJ is the best running RB in the league right now. LT is still the best player overall but LJ is running better than him as a RB now. Just saying that over the second half of the season, not saying eternally. LJ has turned it on. He's got size and speed and now he's got the patience to wait on his blocks and he's finding the creases. I can't hardly remember him losing a yard, ever, always going forward. We shut down every good RB this year except him. He killed us. Its because he's the best right now.
5) KC is their own worst enemy. Their offense only stalls when they do something stupid or TO. That was the most high school display of tackling I have ever seen in the NFL. Gunther should take the blame. Displays like that should get you fired in the NFL. Pathetic.
6) Thanks KC, you jerks. Needed you win. Thanks alot.

On the other hand, while NYG losing to KC would've been helpful, NYG losing to Washington next week is much more important since we need NYG to have another division loss. Then it would come down to common oppenents for the division title and I'm not sure how that would stack up at this time.

So let's take care of business and win our last three. Go Washington (next week, not this week). :)

Good post... thanks for the info...hmmm.... lets see..

Kansas City is not a good team. They don't have a good defense and haven't for a number of years. They don't have top quality wide receivers. They can't even be classified as a bunch of #2s like the Dallas receivers. These weaknesses show up each and every week for them. They can't stop the other team and they can't generate a consistent passing game week to week. They have a great o-line and very good RB and running game, yet can't build on that to get their receivers open. I wasn't counting on them to win. Dallas put themselves in this situation and they will have to deal with it by winning on the road with two more regular season road games and in the playoffs.
