wasn't it a Thanksgiving Day game when Kevin Williams sild across the endzone on his knee/s to celebrate a TD. I thought that was a pretty cool move.

I always think of this when thinking of cowboys memories..

A more recent weird one was when we played the Commanders and Flozell Adams was on field goal blocking duty and broke the Commanders kicker's nose, the guy's nose was all bent out of shape like a pig.

There's been a lot of good games, I'll always remember the "No Leon" game because I think that's the year it was snowing/sleeting real bad in DFW and we had to drive in it.

I thought that was Roy who broke the kickers nose. That was sick. Ranks up there with Theezemans broken leg. As much as I liked it, you couldn't help saying ohh ahh ehh and looking at the replays with fingers over your eyes.

The worst part about that Lett play was that I knew the rule. I had family speculating on what happens now and I knew what was coming! I'm still waiting for us to get one of those breaks. I want to line up for a game winning field on an untimed down. The result of the other teams screw up.

You guys are right, Flozell blocked the field goal and then when the kicker tried to recover it Roy broke his nose. I just remembered Flozell had something to do with it.

The turf broke his nose Roy just slammed him into the turf. :laugh2:

The Clint Longley winning TD pass in the closing seconds against the skins is always my first thought when I think of the Thanksgiving Games.

that atrocious loss to the Fins' about 3 years ago..or 2... :(

As others around me were cheering the blocked kick I was hollering NO as I saw Leon going towards the ball. If I had a gun I would have stopped him before he got to it. :laugh2:

I had taped the game that day and was watching it "live" later in that I didn't know the score.

My mom came in just as the kicked was blocked and saw how happy I was but said, watch, then that drug addicted goof went after the ball and cost us a win.

We didn't lose another game that year though so it was not all bad.

Leon Let "oh my goodness".

Ugh....my wife (the Phins fan) wouldn't let me hear the end of it. Until I glared at her. Then she just started laughing like crazy. Of course, this made it worse. Then she opted to explain how it was justa game, which of course, made it worse. Then I got over it. :D

Ohh god dont let me get started on that game. I went to that game with 5 dolphin fans and one cowboy fan. I'm still hearing to this day how the waxed us. To make matters worse the one dolphin fan made the local sports section. They got a picture of him holding up a jay feidler jersey. They guy had a career day against us on turkey day, and let me tell you their offense was abysmal up to that point. Bad, Bad turkey day loss.

1991 vs. Pittsburgh. We had just beaten the Commanders in RFK the Sunday before, after dropping 3 out of 4 games prior to the Commanders game.

We won the game vs. the Steelers 20-10 with Buerlein starting at QB, and all I recall is a nice TD pass to Irvin where Rod Woodson got a ride on Irvin's back all the way to the endzone. Irvin looked lightning fast on his way to the endzone.

We kept winning all the way through the playoff game in Chicago, and then lost the following playoff game against the Lions.

Thanksgiving week that year showed me that this team was on its way to something special. We did go on a nice SB run after the 1991 season.

My older brother was home from the Air Force Academy that weekend. I vaguely remember him and my other brother jumping off the couch in excitement. Me? Too busy playing with my Evel Knievel stunt cycle. That toy ruled.

My current favorite game, probably due to where I currently live was the 04 Bears/Cowboys game. Drew Henson made his first and thankfully last start and prompty embarrassed himself and the organization in a half of football. JJ tore the Bears vaunted defense apart to the tune of 200 something yards. Ive had bragging rights for years.
