- Lawson
- Tabor
- Any OT
- McCaffery

I would have added Adoree Jackson to the list but given we need CBs in the worst way, I can live with him at 28.

Ill be honest... I haven't followed this draft class as much as I have in years past so I don't really have a guy that im just completely against because honestly I just don't know enough.

The only thing I would be mad about is taking a player that is a need over another player that is better.

I don't want to take some ho hum DE or DB over a guy like Njoku. Now if you take a Peppers, Moreau, or someone like that i'd be ok with it.

I just think David Njoku is going to be ridiculously good.

Same here-I don't see how you pass him up, problem is I think the Giants might feel the same way.

If he was available and they did pass him up I pray it's because they really think they have something in Gathers or something stupid like Barnett slips.

Problem with drafting at 28...is you are probably going to get a player that many have on their I don't want that guy list because at 28 you are probably not going to get a player that is on many teams 1st round grade board unless someone falls for some reason.

At 28 I just can't see a top DE or CB falling to us and at Safety you might get the 3rd best if we are lucky.

I don't see a top OT falling to us but a top RT maybe.

You might get a top 3 TE fall to us but what good will it be if none of them are in the mold of a BLOCKING and Receiving TE that we want therefore it would probably be a waste for this team.

So in reality...this team will probably get a DE or DB who is around 3rd (best case scenario) in the rankings for his field but likely lower.

There is no way that Sidney Jones gets drafted in the first round.
There was no way Jaylon Smith should have been drafted at 34. See where I am going with this.

I'm surprised with these many responses nobody said the Taco's name. I'd be happy if we drafted him at #28, but I have read a lot of negative reports on him.

Peppers would just have me with the side eye. With all the supposed speed between him and Byron I better not see minimal interceptions while Budda is looking like Earl Thomas where he goes.
I doubt they even look at Budda. They love their thresholds and he isn't going to fit them unfortunately.

With this draft, there is probably a decent chance the Cowboys get their 15th or so ranked player at 28. It appears after the first few picks, the talent and ratings may be different from team to team. If that is the case, I hope they trust their board and grab the highest rated player regardless of position...especially if that player is by himself on that plateau.

After posting a 4.6 time in the 40s, he's definitely not going in the first round. He'll be lucky to see the second.
You never know. Joe Haden ran a slow 40 and still went high.
