Second week straight with a loss. Our Defense looked weak up the middle. We play the first 3 teams and did what we were supposed to do to lesser teams.

I was wondering if last week was more of a fluke or not. It’s looking like this maybe the norm. Our Defense shows flashes yesterday but not very good, especially against the run. Something is broke, we were good last year against the run other than the rams game. Mostly the same players.

Yesterday’s game was unreal. I expected the opposite after the saints game.. Came out and got a stop and took the ball and was moving it. Elliot has some surge and WR was getting open. The Cooper with a drop gave them the ball. After that it just went down hill.

Dak got down and tried to do to much. He threw 3 picks. The second one was just ugly, he had Elliot in the flat open and it’s where the ball needed to go. The last pick, Gallup was absolutely mugged and no flag thrown. I saw a few bad calls or non calls.

We get the jets this week, if we can’t stop the run then I expect a close one honestly.

What do you all think is happening. Are we not as good as we thought, poor coaching, to confident. Play calling. Had to wait till this morning to post because I was fuming last night. Lol.

It's essentially the same team we had last year. Few personnel changes, nothing of significance, and the same coaches. At best, they'll have similar results.
 
Second straight week and the exact thing was a major factor in the playoff
loss to the Ram last year and was NOT addressed in the off season.

The GM is culprit but he's in good with the owner so as fans we add that
to the frustration pile that keeps getting bigger and bigger.

Smith runs on skates and we still have no 1T so when offenses commit to the run there's an easy hole to be had right up the gut. Plus Heath is terrible which makes it even easier to run up the middle.
 
Just like prior years with different personnel it comes back to the same person coaching the team.

Or it’s Wittens fault.

Our biggest need last offseason was to get a run stuffing 1 tech. We failed to address it and it will continue to bite us in the butt. As bad as we played yesterday we still had a chance at the end.
 
Think the middle sucking so bad it is hurting the edge. Defenders are collapsing to cover the huge gash in the middle then we get burned outside as well. Read Denver might be having a fire sell soon, they have any huge DTs?

In no order:

1. The NFL is tough, fine line between winners and losers. When you are not prepared and can't adapt you will lose.
2. The culture is destroyed here. 3 wins against bad teams and these guys are so over-confident. It is a country club. Can't win in the NFL with that.
3. Garrett is a terrible coach - old story. He does not have the team playing with any urgency.
4. Definitely out schemed the last 2 weeks.
5. Lots of players not performing up to their capabilities - Demarcus Lawrence and LVE in particular.
6. That Clarence Hill video floating around that says the team is a fraud - the comments on getting Fleming help just show how lousy this coaching staff is.
7. Maher is not a NFL K.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

I agree that Rodgers will make a team look like bums, but Antuan Woods' absence is truly missed, and the second coming of Malik Collins has been delayed for some reason.
 
Newsflash to those that think the Cowboys suck. The Cowboys are mediocre. They beat the bad teams and lose to the good teams. They have followed this pattern for five weeks now. 8-8 is where they are headed which is what the league wants for all teams... it's called parity. As Cowboys fans, we have higher expectations for the Cowboys.
