That may go down as the worst 1-side ref hose job as there is

Don't forget 'funny.' You're also funnier than the other people you know.

On a completely unrelated note, you really gotta get to know at least one other person, Herd.
Why? The ashtray, the paddle game, and the remote control, and that's all I need.

Except, surprisingly, SLO is generally considered the better of the two campuses. This thread has 'Pomona' written all over it.

You're on the West Coast, too, right, bkight? Sounds like it if you know the CalPoly options.
No I just looked up the logo......I'm from MD on the East Coast....reppin' Biggie

"And my dog!" (growl)..."I don't need my dog!"

Name the movie.... :)
Sorry to hijack the thread, but I think it had hit critical mass anyway.

I usually go Monty Python for movie references, but Navin seemed like a good fit here.

That was an example of you being wrong, which you asked for when you said, and I quote, "Feel free to expose me and bring up some issues I was wrong on." Try to keep up with your own requests.

I'm gonna go way out on a limb and guess you attended the Pomona campus, right?

Pamona? Hmmm, add illiteracy under your list of shortcomings.

If we're on to academic backgrounds, can I ask where you're attempting to obtain your high school equivalency certificate from? Seriously, that's not a dig. You should be proud; gotta set some sorta benchmark for your spawn.

Lol, BTW, gotta love that I got your researching for new material (Pamona vs. SLO). You're shook.

Can we add reading to your list of shortcomings? Maybe you can't read the words under Cal Poly. And they go ad-hominem when there's no where else to turn. Thanks for making it clear in case anybody else was still holding out hope you had anything left.

I'll add this thread to the list for the next time you ask for an example of you being embarrassingly wrong about something. I'm assuming we're in agreement that that was, in fact, what you'd specifically asked me to point out earlier, before you confused yourself again. But lmk if you're not intellectually honest enough to admit that one, either.

Says the guy I've got shook, researching my school (for whatever reason) and then falsely claiming I went somewhere else. You breath hypocrisy like it's oxygen.

I'd like to threaten you by saying I'll point back to this thread too, but you'll just pivot, digress or obfuscate as you always do in the face of your folly.

But that's not your fault is it? You developed a coping mechanism early on and gosh darnit, you're not gonna abandon it now.

Go do some more research and report back. Fetch.

Sheer brilliance.

So, on the one hand you state "bias by a ref against one of Sports most loved and hated sports teams would be hard to prove," but then you turn around and want me to show you examples of other teams "as bad as these."

You've missed the point. I don't believe there is systemic bias with the league's referring crews to do-in the Cowboys or any other team. I believe there is rampant poor officiating and fans of every team myopically think it's just against them.

If you want other meaningless examples from other fanbases of their own paranoia, I suggest you simply do a Google search: "referee bias against the Steelers...referee bias against the Patriots....referee bias against the Raiders...et cetera" and read what you get. But let me guess, those folks are all crazies...only the Cowboy fans have the true right to lament.

Here's a few examples:
Sunday Night's Referee Crew Proves Goodell/League's Bias Against Patriots
http://www.12up.com/posts/3737281-s...proves-goodell-league-s-bias-against-patriots

The Raiders Got Screwed by the Referees

Officiating Bias Against Bengals Never Ends
http://www.inquisitr.com/2915497/officiating-bias-against-bengals-never-ends/
For someone who thinks they are smart you don't really follow basic things very well.

I didnt ask you to prove a bias. I asked you to provide plays as bad as the plays that Op provided. Comparable examples.

I don't believe there is a "league wide bias". Try just reading and not putting your paranoid spin on it that must come of your fear of someone making an accusation of a conspiracy existing. Relax honey. No one is saying there's a conspiracy. Just that there is "possibly"----that's "possibly" a bias among refs.

It's just a discussion and we are not forcing you to participate. Yet, each week you feel it's your job to tell us what is worth discussing. Your oddly condescending approach is fun though. It's an endearing trait that I'm sure you're proud of. Congrats.

I'm sure Deadskins fans can go show video evidence of this offensive line getting away with some holding calls as well as a few offensive pass interference's miss calls. I'm more shocked fans think that refs aren't human and won't miss calls yet in their everyday lives they make mistakes and want to be allowed to make those mistakes.
We all know this. Holds are missed etc. What we are saying is when a guy pulls a jersey almost off or tackles a defender after being beat it's hard to figure out how they missed a call like that. They had zero in 53 pass attempts.

The 15 yard penalty that was picked up is a clear rule. No explanation of why it was picked up. Doubt you see many like that. Dez's leg being picked up and twisted in front of the ref is another.

It's that the calls were obvious to reasonable person. I'd like to know a Refskins fan to see if he could show me some as obvious.

SMH.

Maybe in your effort to heehaw, you looked right past the THREE LINKS I provided to you from other fanbases regarding specific calls they feel were suspiciously blown.

Now quick, go read them and give your predictable "yeah, but those aren't as bad as the ones they missed against us" response so we can all move on.

Lol you're calling the wrong person politically correct. I've watched the game 5 times now. There were missed calls on both sides. Every fan base complains about bad calls and missed calls. Fans around the league are having this same conversation lol. I have friends, who aren't Cowboy fans, tell me all the time that we get lucky calls. You just have to watch it with the same eyes that you watch the Cowboys with. Are there games where one team seems like they're getting the calls? Sure, it happens. Been happening for the 27 years I've been watching the game seriously. The officiating has been bad this year but the one sided against the Cowboys isn't as bad as people claim.
I have to agree there were bad calls for both teams. However. Beasely getting his neck turned around as often as he does has to stop. One day someone is going to seriously hurt him. Has there even been fines for the one in Pittsburgh that damn near killed him? By not calling the penalty or even fining the player after and admitting it was a missed call gives players a reason to think it's ok to do it.

So easy to predict because you can't even play that stupid.

They aren't even close. No reasonable person would think there is any comparison. You aren't getting the point of this thread or what I'm trying my best to explain to you.

There are bad calls everywhere. Some of these are so bad they make some wonder how they could be missed. The tackle type holds or grabbing of Crawford's jersey where the man is clearly beat and is just trying to prevent the qb from getting hurt, the facemask and interference on Beasley that was 3ft from the ref, picking up the 15 yard penalty for body slamming, and Norman throwing Dez's leg and twisting it right in front of the ref are some I think lack a close comparison in any of the examples you provided. Last weeks twisting of Beasley's head in a half circle was one you will not see. Ever again.

Those are all common judgment calls that are routinely missed.

Lool, as presciently predicted in post #170.

Right. As I stated not even you could pretend to be so stupid. They weren't close. They were common judgment calls.

I'm not familiar with lool. Is that another of your clever put downs?

Your anger and lashing out on the internet is cute. You should learn why this discussion makes you so angry and try to deal with that. We are just trying to discuss the calls we feel are incomparably bad. If you feel they are comparable then do it. You've been asked to provide examples, but they are stupid comparisons. Try again and try harder.

You obviously think highly of yourself. Make a stronger effort and others may as well.

You asked for examples of bad calls.

I gave you three so egregious, fans/bloggers from those teams wrote articles about them and AS PREDICTED you summarily dismissed out-of-hand "buh, buh, no wAyy, Ourz or so much worser!"

What's hilarious is you actually think you can objectively argue your interpretation of an event (i.e. missed call, bad call, non-call) and pass it off as a "fact." Effectively, you think you can argue your own subjective opinion of what's the better ice cream as if it's fact. I say chocolate, rocky road, mint chocolate chip and you just respond back "nope, vanilla's better." That's your own shortcoming in your reasoning skills(or perhaps an indictment on our school systems).

Oh, and looool.

Ok. I think it's safe to say this thread's run its useful course. Good topic, though, YR.
