That may go down as the worst 1-side ref hose job as there is

The Cowboys were playing against the Skins and the refs as I re-watch the game.

1) 3rd and 6, 7:32 left in 1st quarter, WAS ball. Crowder gets away with blatant offensive PI. Shoves Byron back a couple of yards before the ball is ever released as Cousins had to roll out to avoid pressure. Reed is wide open and gets the first down.

2) Next play they call a hold on Scandrick that was iffy at best.

3) 3rd and 15, 3:30 to go in first quarter, miss a bad defensive PI on Breeland to Butler that would have gained the offense 27 yards.

4) :06 left in first quarter, Reed sets another illegal pic which allows Vernon Davis to get wide open and pick up 22 yards.

5) 11:59 in second quarter. Dez catches a pass on Norman and Norman proceeds to step on Bryant's hand. The ref is looking right at Norman, about 3-yards away from him.

6) 4:50 left in 2nd quarter. Playclock was at 0 when the ball was snapped.

7) 3:44 left in 2nd quarter, Dak beautifully bootlegs and throws to Beasley who is again, clear as day, face masked by Breeland.

8) 1:31 left in 2nd quarter, T. Crawford beats Morgan Moses badly and holds him to prevent the sack.

9) 1:04 left in 2nd quarter, Ryan Davis beats the LT and is put in a sleeper hold with no call.

10) 4:58 left in 3rd quarter. T. Crawford beats Morgan Moses and Moses tackles him from behind to the ground.

11) 11:39 left in 4th quarter. Norman gets beat by Dez and twists his ankle after the play was dead.

12) 7:24 left in the 4th quarter, EE's TD run is negated by a bogus holding call on Mayle. What's even worse is 4 referees called the hold on Mayle, I guess not understanding that pancake blocks are not holds.

13) 7:12 left in 4th quarter. Personally I don't think this should be a penalty, but the rule book states pretty clearly and Mason Foster picked up Dunbar and slammed him to the ground.

14) 6:30 left in 4th quarter, looks like Baker (I think it was him) is well offsides. Didn't matter because EE ran for a TD anyway.

Only #2 I would say was a judgment call. The rest were very obvious and that doesn't include Jackson slapping Anthony Brown and the other Josh Norman shenanigans.

It also showed that the defense pressure wasn't as bad as originally thought. If those holding calls are called that changes the complexion of the game. The same as #1, Crowder's blantant offensive PI.

I won't mistake this defense for being good, but I don't know how the refs could miss those holding calls as they were clear as day to see.

Oh man your post really has me angry. I'm so glad I don't get to go to any of dallas home games. I would be very tempted to run on the field and dropkick a ref. J/K I think

Why do our fans think this was one-sided? It was bad all around.

Jackson was held in the end zone by Brown. He was grabbed by the jersey by Scandrick on the play where Scandrick knocked the long pass away.

They gave us a tackle on a screen pass where the contact was made before the pass was caught, which cost the running back several yards.

They called the pass that was "fumbled" and returned for a touchdown incomplete when it actually was a catch and down by contact.

That's just the ones I can think off off-hand. Now, there were some absolutely blatant missed calls that should have been made such as the leg twist and the face mask, but it was just a poorly officiated game all the way around. It's almost like the officials just didn't want to make calls unless they felt they had to, and some of those were less than the ones they should have called.

Agreed on the missed holding calls. I found myself yelling at the screen on more than two occasions. Those non-calls happened on big plays for them, too. Calling those holds would have definitely changed the complexion of the game.

I'm sure a skins fan could make the same argument. I thought it was pretty even as far as bad and missed calls. They defiantly let the db's play on both teams. As long as they're consistent and IMO they were.

I noticed the heavy one-sided calls in this game also. While a lot of fans of teams only see what they want. I agree. This was quite one-sided that I saw. At least blatant penalties. Even my Vikings fan friend who absolutely HATES the Cowboys (for obvious "historical" reasons) even commented on how the BS was piling up.

Ah, watcha gonna do. The NFL front office doesn't give a crap. They love when the Cowboys are winning, but they also love the controversy when a streaking Cowboys team loses. (Romo back in play?)

The NFL can eat a ****ing ****. I'm close to being done with this league and their BS. They make it so damn difficult for me to watch my favorite team these days. There is a reason, Hockey has become Sport #1 with me over the last few years.

I dont know why some people are so bent upon political correctness, why calling spade - spade is wrong anymore ?

I agree Ref is not easy job, judgemental calls and so, thats why when its not consistent makes it look one-sided, but having said that , some were obvious missed calls yday.

I did observe some of the same observations by Yazuka

11. Yes - this was right infront of line judge
12. Not sure, looked like text book blocking, but cant be sure

When thing like this happens , like 3 holds called on a probowl LT , the Commanders makeshift Tackles called for only one , makes you wonder, NFL asking refs to keep the game close , by hook or crook ?

Holds and PIs are one thing, but some pretty flagrant things were committed in plain view of refs, but they went ignored. Desean should have been ejected, and Norman should have at least gotten one personal foul. I didn't see Cowboys committing personal fouls.

Thanks for the breakdown of this game YR and it explains as to why Cousins had damn near 500 yds passing and the illegal tactics their WRs and Oline got away with and it pisses me off and what officials are telling future opponents of the Cowboys you can get away with murder not trying to sound conspiratorial but I think even these officials are trying to stick it to us.

If this whole board just starts blowing up the nfl with emails do you think it would make a difference?

Funny thing is, I just noticed last week Seattle tried running their usual pick plays and they were getting flagged for it. I was hoping the NFL was cracking down on this. Then I watch this game and realize it's totally dependent on what particular officiating crew is doing our game.
