I don't dislike that but Collinsworth summed it up for me, that reminded me of some of those old BAL-PIT games when both played defense.

And some said the HOU fans wouldn't care about his game, I'd say they cared.

The difference is those Balt-Pitt games usually had playoff implications and both had great enough defenses to win Super Bowls.

This was more of a rivalry game for mediocre/ dormant teams which is a good game without any more meaning that bragging rights in the state. I guess this is what we’ve been reduced to. Lol

Yeah, I know, some are going to be pissed, quote all the stats and the score and overlook the beauty of what that was. That was football!

That was the best example of real football I have seen this season and yes, it wasn't pretty, it's not supposed to be, it's football. The NFL wants to make it pretty, tonight these two teams crossed them up and it was a thing of beauty.

That was an old fashioned slugfest and these players are going to have more bruises from this game than any they've played in a long time. Both teams fought for every yard they got and will not soon forget this game.

You can be mad about losing and you can point out all the warts but tonight I saw a glimpse of what this game used to be about and there's not a player on either team that should hang their head tonight, neither left anything in the locker room.

I have never been more convinced that they should meet every season. My friends, Texas football stood proud tonight because it was all about toughness. This game was all about guts and the Boys have nothing to hang their heads about, they showed up and gave their best and I am proud of them.

Yea, the Baylor/ K State game was great too but 2 teams going nowhere this season.

But this is what we’ve been reduced too. Just wanting a close game for our favorite team between two 2-3 teams battling to hover around .500.

I like what Sturm said. Garrett always coaches like he has the better team. But often he doesn’t have the better team.
