After watching Lawrence fumble a fumble recovery, I would have cut him after the play and wouldn't have waited for game to finish. Then he comes back with vengeance on a very athletic play to beat the OT and leap toward Stafford to cause fumble. There was a large amount of talent on display for those watching closely. If you can do it once you can do it again. This kid is green but I still think he is going to be play making DE soon.

DeMarcus made a great play.

Good thing you're not a coach.

I loved it. Sweet redemption!

Lawrence clearly had the wrath of Dallas hanging over his head had this team lost. Too see him hang in there and make the game sealing play was priceless. I also think a play like that can do wonders for his confidence in himself heading into GB.

Right. The kid is a rookie and made a rookie mistake. As a fan, I didn't need him to make up for it because things like that happen to the best of them. BUT I knew he would get a tough break from the media and all I could do was smile when he made a even TOUGHER play and with the sack, strip and fumble recovery. Impressive.

How about those rookies tonight?

That was what we have been hoping for, we need more of that next week.

He went from Zero to Hero just like Romo today!

He learned quick after his first fumble recovery to just fall on it. Then again, don't think he had much of a choice on that second fumble recovery anyway lol

Bless his heart.....You know you can say what you want about a person as long as you bless their heart first.:D He saved him self a ton of off with his head threads around these parts.

sure glad it worked out...he is forgiven..;)

I couldn't believe he fumbled that recovery. But man, as pissed as I was about that, I was equally as happy when he came back with a great play to win the game.

Just an amazing play at the exact right moment.

Gotta give credit to Mincey as well, he has been probably our most consistent defensive player this year. Carter has been on fire lately too.

Absolutely agree on the confidence mention...

No room on this board for DeMarcus to be a rookie... must. be. great. all. the. time....

Otherwise - a wasted pick and cut him...

After all - he has played 6 games now after faking an injury causing him to miss his rookie training camp and half the season..

lol

Geez.... so glad they drafted him...

I was taught same thing. But you need to have kind of smile on your face as you say bless his heart cause it lessens impact of hammer your about to drop.

When he made the sack, my GF had just walked in and was impressed. I said it's even better because that is the Cowboys draft pick that a bunch of clowns have been criticizing.
