I think they just got beat. Maybe their 13-3 last year was a testament to the coaching/talent in the rest of the AFC and not the Titans. Not that they aren't a good team.

So are you saying that Dallas losing to Oakland is also equally important.

You guys need to calm down and just be happy that we seem to be playing well in meaningless preseason games. I guess Detroit did go 4-0 last preseason...that was HUGE in showing how they would go 0-16 when it counted.

Was it fun sitting in on both team's meetings last week?

Yeah. I got a kick out of it.

I did listen to the Tenn. coach the whole week before and just after the game. They were looking for 1 on 1 battles. He also gave credit to Dallas as he should have.

They were leading 10-7 and subbed their defense while the boys did not. They still gave credit but they say they have played 3 preseason games and the starters have given up 1 offensive TD. They aslo said that the dallas D kept them in in yarage situations--another compliment. Bottom line, they said that with all the preseason games they are looking more at the big picture and are happy so far.

As I sat there listening to Troy and Joe giving the Titans promps for having the best depth in the NFL, going on about how the other 31 teams should be watching the Titans for who they cut, just so that they can have some of that amazing depth on their teams, acting like they were the 92 Cowboys reincarnated....

....I thought "We just smashed that amazing depth up and down the field for 60 minutes with a vanilla offense and smashmouth football - going right at the strength of their defense. And all the announcers can talk about is the height of our video board."

I mean let's be real, people.

What's funny is that I was looking at a Titans board and they were complaining before the game about the announcers being pro-Dallas. I was wondering if they'd ever actually watched an Aikman/Buck game before. Perhaps not as many as us, considering they're on Fox.
