Yup. Depends on the draft. Some years there's not more than a handful of 1st round talent, maybe 4 or 5. Some years there's 1st round talent in the 2nd round. Look at the year we picked Elliot, there just wasn't much at the top of the draft.

Nope. DET. They're also above us. We need more than one team to implode.

This all goes back to taking an unneeded project TE in the 2nd. I don't think most comprehend how badly screwing up a 1st or 2nd round pick hurts us. Snowball effect. We were then forced to draft for need as that screwball pick left us bereft at another position.

I'm saying that. Certainly need a couple teams to squander a couple games . But we see it each year. I just don't wanna be gifted anything. I'd like to see us win out, and beat out the eagles.

No disrespect intended. But isn't that a losers mentality? These guys are literally paid to play at a high level. Coaches too. Losing organically is one thing, but tanking is shady feeling. Wrong. Against my nature and code of conduct I go by in life.
