That's James Houston!

So thats who Jerry consults with about player aquisition.....
No but it's sad that Matt Eberflues took so long I never will understand coaches waiting and saying well we need to see and let a player earn it no that's BS we all saw it in practice and preseason games He looked just like this he should have been starting game one. This is kind of like the head scratchers that you see last year with Mike Mccarthy forcing Ezekiel Elliott onto the field and not starting Rico until like Game 8 or after that's ridiculous everyone saw who was better and yet coaches have these weird ideas of who should be playing until they're forced to put that player on the field because of the players production now puts a spot on the coach saying what are you doing here...

LOL "Rick James". Flash backs to Dave Chappelle skits! What did the five fingers say to the face?

So where is the outrage that Howie Roseman did not sign Houston.
Where is the outrage that GB's GM is stupid giving 2 first round picks and $47 million a year, and giving away Clark when the could have had Houston.

Because if either one of them signed him, fans would be outraged that Jerry didn't sign him.

:lmao:

I do wonder what made them look at him.
I think we brought in a couple of other ends for the tryout, so we were likely just looking at veterans to compete for a roster spot. Probably were not expecting much more than a camp body, but knowing that his body of work showed he was capable of being more than that.

Someone posted a graphic that Parsons and Garrett by far have the highest pressure/double-team rate in the league this year (or something similar to that). So I don't think Green Bay is regretting trading for Parsons. They may regret it if it doesn't turn out to be a Charles Haley move, but right now, he's doing his job, getting pressure and drawing extra blockers. I don't know why our fans are so insistent on acting like he's not one of the top pressure players in the league.

I'm glad we got Houston, because this year has shown that without Parsons, we can't get much pressure with just our front four, but I have no doubt we'd be a much better pressure team with Parsons. Don't think it would change the results so far (at least not much ... maybe we win that Green Bay game), so I'm not saying the trade is why we are 2-2-1.

You can't do that you can't now say well just put Parsons on our team in that same scenario because then I can point out the fact that you're reaching because he in fact was on our team on the other side of the Green Bay Packer Dallas playoff game that got absolutely dominated they embarrassed our defense right from the first snap until they decided they didn't want to score anymore so don't tell me what he could have done to change the outcome he didn't change the outcome for either team when he was on either side..

You land in a 4040 tie or the on the wrong side of a blowout you didn't make that much of a difference..

I agree with everything else you say but let's stop giving him too much credit because he's been on the wrong side of a lot of bad games against a better offenses that knew how to do just what the Cowboys did to him and ran at him Ran a lot of plays stretched out to his side make him chase make him chase where they take the guy he's in front of and move him in motion to the other side and bang on him all day..

I wasn't saying he's ineffective but you can take his impact on the game and almost neutralize it If you watch enough games that's how you do it and then it would take there are other pass rushers to win and I don't think Gary had a big game at all in this game so we did a very good job..

No one's saying we don't miss Parsons but at the same time I don't think either teams records have been affected from the trade not yet there hasn't been an impact or a sign on who truly won this so we could just put it to bed already...
