I hope Proctor never ever ever ever gets to play for Dallas again.
A lot of people are giving Proctor a lot of grief, but to be honest and fair to him, Garrett, Wade and company were unorganized all the way around, especially on offense.

He was thrown in, I know he should be ready to go, but he was thrown in an unorganized, don't have an identity offense and he had to basically learn on the go. I think Proctor will be ready to be a solid back up next season, but we still need to address the starters.

He's crap and shouldn't have been resigned. I was hope...no praying....someone would sign him and give us a second round pick. I would have been :mchammer:

Come on Yeag, he was not that bad. Flozell and Colombo were worse, but for some reason, Romo is able to escape edge rushers better than inside rushers, so Proctor looks worse.

Also, I know he did wiff on some blocks, but even the untouchable Witten wiffed on a ton of blocks in the past 2 years, it happens. He's not that bad man, below average starter, average back up.

Yes he was that bad. I give Flo a bit of a pass because he was hurt but that doesn't excuse the penalties.

But you are right in that the coaching staff is to blame because we should have had a better backup than Proctor. We went cheap and got bit in the butt with Proctor and Brad Johnson.

i dont really want felix to be the returner anymore. It would be awesome if we can get an all-purpose wr KR/PR.
Fortunately he is one of 3 quality running backs. He's going to need to get his touches and a KR will be a good way to do that. I wouldn't plan on him going out for the season again, so might as well use him there.

I'm hoping to see him used as a rb, wr and kr. He can do all three use him.

The number one need for the cap guru is to get rid of Greg Ellis' $ 6.25 million dollar cap hit.

Nothing would make me happier than to have Ellis's replacement on the team this year. But unless someone suddenly drops from heaven and tears it up over there then you are going to see Greg Ellis in a Dallas uniform.

I'll settle for a couple guys on defense who can actually tackle, and a couple guys on offense who can actually pick up the blitz.

We do need speed and athleticism down the center of our defense. Ratliff is a terrific athlete for NT... but at ILB and safety, we have nobody that can move really well.

While I do think we need O-Line help like some others have said... I think Phillips really wants some help at ILB and safety.

I wouldn't say that exactly. Courtney Brown can fly, and is physically gifted.

Problem is, he can't tackle for ****.

Ok... so slow is the way to go....
That isn't what he said. It isnt even close.

Rod Hill was fast. Randall Williams, bullet fast. Alexander Wright, fast.

Besides Felix Jones and Newman... This team has no speed.. Austin is not a burner.. Courtney Brown is fast But he can't tackle.. The only fast LB is Ware
the rest can't cover my grand mother if she goes out on the flat... Crayton, Hurd, Barber and Choice are not homerun hitters..

Mike Jenkins and Orlando Scandrick have plenty of speed. Hamlin can run when he wants. Sensabaugh supposedly has good range.

Several of the teams slowest players are gone. Guys like Henry, RW38 and Keith Davis. Ellis might not be here after draft weekend.

Dont really think I agree with "the team has no speed" argument.

ok...lets go load back up on the Ed Hervey's, Alex Wrights and Randall Williams' of the world.

Speed is great, as long as players have talent for the position too.
