The 1 guy who beat Conner Williams for a sack

After the likes of Phil Pozderic on the Dallas line, a traffic cone would look like an all-pro.

i'm not saying he isn't going to be good or i'm not excited about the pick, just don't judge that comment about 1 sack at face value and think he can walk right in and be an all pro RT playing at a higher level than lael last year.....

Collins was really bad at LG. Not saying hes good at RT, but he was much worse at LG. Killed our run game.
he had some great moments and some bad ones. up and down as a rookie moving from LT to LG. he was solid last year IMO considering the LDEs he faced...

He is very good at RT. Went through the gauntlet full of the league's best left side edge rushers and only allowed what, 3 or 4 sacks? Half of what Chaz green allowed in 1 game

Really good? Or would you say adequate for a first year RT?

He allowed 5 sacks for the season and 8 pressures in a single game.

Was the 2 sacks and 8 pressures against Von Miller in that abortion of a Denver game? When we were dropping back to pass the whole game because Zeke stunk up the joint in the first half with 8 yards and we were down 21-0?

The 8 pressures were against Von, not sure if it yielded 2 sacks or not. Regardless, those were the totals. Trying to find pressures and hurries.

2 sacks, back to back, they happened late in the 4th quarter when the game was already over. Pretty sure both happened on the same drive where Dez quit on a throw and allowed Talib to get that 102 yard pick six.

Dumb on Garrett's part for even leaving Dak in the game at that point.

La'el Collins faced a murderer's row as a first year RT:

week 1, week 14: JPP
week 2: Von Miller
week 3: Chandler Jones
week 5: Clay Matthews III
week 8, week 13: Ryan Kerrigan
week 9: Justin Houston
week 10: Vic Beasley Jr
week 11, week 17: Lane Johnson
week 12: Joey Bosa
week 15: Khalil Mack
week 16: Michael Bennett

that's probably the worst gauntlet for a RT in nfl history tbh.

Collins allowed 49 pressures last season. Tied for 6th most amongst all tackles.

As I said, he wasnt "very good" at RT, but he was better than he was at LG.

If Witten does indeed retire, and with Dez gone, La'el will now be the most overpaid player on the roster. Hopefully he turns it around considering he's still young.

How many pressures in the last 8 games?
