He needs to get back on the leash like last year, all this audibles at the line scrimmage are hurting him more than making him a better QB.

Those are coaching adjustments.

I think I'm just going to pretend this never happened and act surprised later when any of you guys mention it.

Moving on. We've got a big game agains the Broncos next week, and need to really be ready for it because I hear they have a pretty good defense.
Dont watch any sports shows tomorrow because you'll realize it wasn't a dream

GET OFF DAKS NUTS BRO

HE WAS TERRIBLE. HE WOULD EVEN TELL U THAT HIMSELF
Yeah, it's kids like you who used to rip Romo to shreds when he was the only decent player on a team full of scrubs.

I can spot you casual, know-nothing fans a mile away. Have a good night.

The 1993 Cowboys lost 35-16 in the opener to Washington and started 0-2

The 1995 Cowboys lost 38-13 to San Francisco and lost twice to the 5-11 Commanders

No thanks, I was always told not to.

Why do we compare this team to something that happened over 2 decades ago? Has nothing to do with this team.

Exactly. You have nothing

I actually was one of Romo's biggest supporters, but continue to embarrass yourself and tell us how Das wasn't inept this game...

Sure, and those teams ended up being bad.

The point was just because a team gets destroyed doesn't mean they aren't good or won't compete for a title. All but 7 SB champions in history lost at least one game by 17 or more points.

Damn, you actually looked this up?

Learn what "literacy" means before you embarrass yourself further.
Sounds good dakrider but it's no way I can embarrass myself. I think you should get some rest before you have to get up to goto work tomorrow

Where did I say I expected it? I said he didn't play good and that's been a theme the few times we have lost or didn't look good. I'm just being realistic same as I'd give him props for doing good.

All i am saying is, I am not putting this loss on Dak Prescott. What this game showed us is he is no prime Aaron Rodgers or Tom Brady at this point or his career. He needs help to win ball games. When your ultimate weapon only gets 8 yards (which is not all his fault) and his so called "star" WR cant get separation from CBs all game bad things will happen. Dak's flaws appear to be fixable. The only problemis idk if i trust the men who are supposed to fix them.

I can compare it to any number of recent SB champions if you'd like.

2011 Giants lost by 25 to New Orleans

2012 Ravens lost by 30 to Houston

2014 Patriots lost by 24 to Kansas City

2015 Broncos lost by 17 at home to Kansas City

Etc.

The '92 team is a very apt comparison.
In '91 the Cowboys were 11-5, and got walloped in the playoffs. The defense was ranked 17th. Aikman had a QB rating of 85.6 and TD/int ratio of 11 to 10. The Cowboys team that got destroyed by Philly in early '92 weren't the legendary Cowboys yet. No hall of famers yet. Not a dominant defense yet. Aikman was intercepted three times.

They were a young team that seemed to have a lot of talent and then got smacked around badly early in the season. That team learned from it and went on to win the Super Bowl and become the team of the 90's.

Let's see how this team responds.

So true it's one game and the season has barely started. I hope the Cowboys use it as motivation and don't lose confidence. There will be a lot of talk this week of the Cowboys not being very good and they need to respond in a big way next week.

This is my take as well. Every super caliber team goes through a test of mettle. We might not be good enough regardless, but we are 1-1 and played a pick em game on the road which we were soundly beaten.

That's the end of it. Move on and get a W in Arizona and right the ship and we will be ok. Noone is running away with the NFC East anyways.
