The 1st round pick from the galloway trade?

I was just wondering if the first round pick we gave them in that trade for galloway turned out to be shaun alexander whom they drafted.

Shuan Alexander wasn't a first round pick I think they took him in the second pick 49 or so...

You have to be careful which sportscasters you listen to. Some still call Emmitt Smith a 2nd rounder because we took him with our 2nd pick in the 1st round. Not sure but it may be the same thing with Alexander.

Seattle didn't exactly tear it up those two years though. They had 4 first rounders -- two very very good -- Alexander and Hutchinson. Two sucked Chris McIntosh and Koren Robinson. Hutchinson is very good -- but he's also the highest picked guard since Chris Naole in 1997.

Are you a kid? Because if you think we got taken in the worst trade in history, you obviously weren't around when we set back the Viking franchise for a decade in the Herschel Walker deal. That was the worst trade ever (from the Vikings perspective).

alexander was taken in the first round, pick #18, the very pick dallas traded for joey galloway as well as a 1st rounder the next year as well.

The truth is that Galloway was one of the top receivers in the NFL when we made the deal....Now he's one of the top receivers in the NFL again in TB.

We misused him....before and after Parcells arrival. One of the main reasons he wanted out of Dallas was because, according to him, all we ever asked him to do was run deep and clear out so we could throw to other guys underneath.

You can't blame Galloway for his success before and after his stint with the Cowboys...what happened while he was here was someone else's fault.

Actually he was our only first rounder that year, sort of. We wasted the #1 overall pick on Steve Walsh by taking him the summer before we drafted Emmitt. Thank God New Orleans gave us a 1,2 and a 3 in return for Walsh to bail us out of that dissaster.
