That means almost nothing. Theirs a first time for everything. Like Kobe getting caught cheating on his wife.
Are you like a little kid or something slate?

Sorry to chime in late but I have to give the Lakers their due. Great performance by the team.

If the Magic shoot like that again we are done in 4.

Let's go Magic but the Lakers looked like a team of destiny tonight.

Lakers won huh?

Then I guess I root for my old team to sweep. Anything to get that season over with.

The series is far from over even though I think the Lakers will win.

Howard stayed in foul trouble and when he was in the game getting doubled, his supporting cast didn't knock down jumpers.

The Lakers came out inspired, the Magic came out cold from the field and Jameer was very rusty. Great game by LA and Kobe, but I think there will be a different Magic team that shows up on Saturday, Nelson will get stronger as the series goes on.

Impressive win by the Lakers. Magic obviously had a poor shooting night but I think you also have to give credit to the Lakers defensively. The size of the Lakers did present a problem for Orlando. They did not get the same looks they had against Cleveland. Still, you gotta be able to shoot the ball better then Orlando did last night.

Defensively, Orlando has no answer for Kobe. The only thing they can do, IMO, is try to play a team defensive scheme against him and if you do that, then you leave other people open. They are going to have to make a decision on Kobe. Let him run wild or make somebody else beat you. It's a no win situation IMO. The other thing is that Orlando did not get hardly any transition point against LA. They live off that secondary break offense and it wasn't there last night. They also got hammered in the paint. I mean, they got hummiliated in the Paint by LA. They are going to have to find a solution to that. LA took everything to the hole last night. Hardly any outside shooting on behalf of the Lakers. They made a statement there. Orlando will have to close that off if they have any hope of winning IMO.

I don't think Kobe is going go home without the ring this year. The drive, the passion, the fire to win this is just to overwhelming. He is all about business this year and last night it showed.

I haven't seen Kobe that focused (3rd Qtr) in a very long time. As a matter of fact, that may be the most focused I have ever seen him. He was not to be denied. Period.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Magic will play better. They still have a lot to contend with on the other side of the ball and, to add to the complicity of it all for the Magic, The Black Mamba cannot be guarded. :D

Guys...Kobe has to play like that EVERY game. LeBron did the same thing, only difference is that Alston decided to overachieve along with Rashard and Turk. They'll start making thier shots.Don't worry.

Kobe does not have to play all that well. He just has to do what he does night in, night out. Everybody seems to think that Kobe played so well last night. In fact, he didn't play all that well. He played good but not great. Kobe shot 48% from the field last night. He's averaged right around 46% for the playoffs. His season average is 47%. He got hot when he needed to but he always does that and I really don't expect that to change much. The problem, as I said earlier, is that Orlando doesn't have anybody to match up with him. He's going to get his shot whenever he wants to because of the match ups.

I expect Orlando to shoot better in the series but I don't expect them to shoot 48% like they did against Cleveland.
