This is exactly what I preached at halftime. Kobe has no idea how to win by being a team player. He jacks up shots while everyone else just stands and watches. Kobe gets his 35, meanwhile his teammates arn't in rhythem because it was a one man show in the first half. It's cute that he put on a show the first half but the Lakers lose every time he does that. They are best when Kobe gets everyone involved first then closes. Not the other way around. Kobe will NEVER get a ring because he's too selfish to realize it.
dude he's not T.O. and he already has 3. he will get his 4th championship ring this year.

Slate, if you were a Laker fan this series would be 3-0 Magic...:banghead::bow:

(sorry I had to get in on it)

 Be lucky you have someone to back you up. The Faker Magic ratio is about 10:1 on here. Speaking of which..where are all those punks who come out of the woodwork after a Laker win and then bash me?

With the best center of all time. Meanwhile that best center of all time already won one without him with a different guard. So who was more responsible for those rings?

dude Shaq won his 4th with D-wade. Kobe is about to do it with a 19 year old kid at center and a big softy in Gasol.

"about to" and already has is a big difference. Kobe wanted to be selfish and have his own team. How's that worked out so far?

in about a week it's gonna be all good cause he's gonna have his 4th ring, still healthy and one of the top 3 players in the game and playing for the Lakers. Shaq is old, washed up and looking for a new team.

Great game, man LA is tough! I suspect the rest of the games will be tight like the last two, these teams are really playing each other hard!

Go Magic!

Of course Shaqs old. He's 5 years older than Kobe. Not his fault. At the end of the day he's got more rings than Kobe. The Magic should just stop playing since Kobe already has his 4th ring right? lol cmon

Speaking of solid team basketball, how about the Magic's 5 players with at least 18 points? That is how to move the ball around.

As a matter of fact, I think Alston and Pietrus' combined 38 points was key to the game.

Phil: 43-0 when he takes Game 1.

Orlando shoots 62.5%... at home... an NBA Finals record... and only wins by 4 in a nailbiter.

Think Kobe's missing 5 more FTs in Game 4? Me neither.

The fat lady's warming up her vocal chords. Lakers in 6.

Think Kobe's going to go back to 2004-08 form and score 35 while losing? I do.

Magic had costly turnovers in the last 4 minutes. That's the only reason the Lakers got to hang around. Choke Mcgee..cough! I mean Kobe wanted to be a ball hog.

Sorry but unless the Magic win all 3 at home, which I just don't see happening, they're not going to have any shot of winning this series. I can't see them beating LA two times in LA.

Best center of all time? :laugh2::laugh2: Sorry man, Shaq's maybe 4th or 5th on that list, and I love Shaq.

Anyway, great game. This playoff has been full of them, reminds me why I love basketball.

As Kobe has said himself, that team wouldn't have won without all the players involved. Hell, Robert Horry was a huge part of their championships and he's got more rings than either Shaq or Kobe, so he must be the best of the three!

Nice win for Magic, Magic was bound to win one, so hopefully we can take it on from here.

Top 3 at least. Please don't say Russell or Chamberlain. Those guys were 7 foot lanky guys playing against 6"6 white boys. It's like if Dwight played back then. They got most of their points and rebounds off of put backs and shear height alone. They'd just be average if they played today.

Robert Horry was always considered a role player. Never a superstar like Kobe.

:laugh2: Please. He had 7 footers on him quite often. He was big and skilled. Tyson Chandler would have put up similiar numbers as Russell and Chamberlain. That height advantage is disgusting. It's like a division one college Bball player playing an 8th grader.
