The Magic aren't very well coached...

Ya they are. The coach can't play for them and Nelson was doing fairly well. Dwight has bashed Van Gundy before by not leaving in the guys that were doing the job. Well Jameer was doing the job, so if he takes him out he loses either way.

Howard is nothing more than a glorified dikembe motombo that espn is trying to pimp as the next great big man, not gonna happen. this series has made that painfully obvious. also, cavs we're ridiculously overrated. the best 2 teams in the league this past year were the celtics and lakers, if the celtics were healthy these finals would have been a lot better, oh well.

16 points 20 rebounds and 9 block shots, I don't remember
Mutumbo having those types of numbers.

It's still not over. The Magic are a crazy team. They'll probably lose but them winning 3 straight isn't impossible.[/quote

Yeah it is. It is absolutely, hands-down, locked and loaded IMPOSSIBLE at this point. In fact, they better be careful or the Lakers will celebrate the Championship this Sunday on their court!

The best part? In a year when it was 24/7 "We are all Witness's", and a total Lebron-fest, Kobe gets to nail it down. Couldn't pick a better year for Kobe to rub every Kobe-haters face in it. Good for him.

From here on out, Kobe Bryant MUST be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan, Bird, Magic, Oscar, Jerry West, etc.............as an ALL TIME GREAT!! PERIOD!!!

I see the Magic winning Sunday, but not after that.

Typical Laker fan. Only giving out props when the Lakers win. You went MIA after last game and blaming "getting up for work" as an excuse not to participate in the discussion.

IIRC, You were still up after the win while I had to be up at my usual time of 4:15 to be to work by 6am. I set the timer and barely remember the last few minutes of game 3.

I also recall hopping on that next morning before heading out to work and providing you with an audience. Did I not? Would you care to look a couple of pages back?

BTW, I was off today and I also took tomorrow off. I'm here all night for ya. ;)

He needs to alert them as to what to do in certain situations...

You DO NOT leave Fisher open for 3's at clutch time...

FT's killed the Magic as well...

in his prime? he could easily put those numbers up, along with the crappy offensive play and free throw shooting. Howard is a more marketable dikembe motombo, which isnt bad, motombo might be a hall of famer, but its time for people to put away the anointment oil on howard as the next great big man. great big men can score at will, howard cant, its clear as day his only offensive move is im stronger and faster than a lot of guys so ill overpower them

The esteemed Stan Van Gundy at the podium!

He's second guessing his decision to not foul with 11 seconds left in OT.

Also second guessing sticking with Jameer Nelson in OT and leaving Skip 2 Muh Lou on the bench.

We don't know that Van Gundy didn't tell everyone that. It could have been a Jameer slip up.

Why? because he agrees with you? Kobe should never be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan. Kobe's trash and will always be Jordan's shadow. What a slap in the face to Michael Jordan.

How old is Howard like 22-23. For his age right now they are dead on in promoting him as the next great thing, he is there yet but at his age, with a couple of post game moves, he is well on his way.

I'll put money on the fact that Jordan himself would disagree with you.

Agree. Howard is a year or two away from total domination down low.

as much as it pains me to say it, you are absolutely right, kobe can now be considered one of the top 3 players of this era (with shaq and duncan) as well as a top 10 or so player of all time, and he still has 2 or 3 more seasons of dominant play and 3 or 4 after than of really good play in him.
