I'll put money on the fact that Jordan himself would disagree with you.

Jordan is humble. He would deny that he's even great. If anyone should be mentioned with Jordan it's LeBron.

Why? because he agrees with you? Kobe should never be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan. Kobe's trash and will always be Jordan's shadow. What a slap in the face to Michael Jordan.
Yes he should. You can't see it because your such a Kobe hater that anything he does your blind to it. He's noway better than Mike but he should be mentioned if he wins a ring this year and definately if he gets more. The best comparison to Mike is that he has made the all-defensive team like 6 years in a row while scoring at a high clip. Again he isn't Mike but he has time to at least make an argument.

How old is Howard like 22-23. For his age right now they are dead on in promoting him as the next great thing, he is there yet but at his age, with a couple of post game moves, he is well on his way.

Bleu Star;2807370 said:
Agree. Howard is a year or two away from total domination down low.

it doesnt matter, he lacks footwork, Offensive post moves, IQ with the basketball while being double teamed, those are things that cant be taught easily. look up the history of great big men in the NBA, they all came in and dominated offensively immediately. you can then argue that he came straight from high school but he still lacks basic fundamentals on low post moves which the greatest big men had as freshmen in college. Kareem has said the exact same things and bill simmons about in in an article not too long ago. There is no shame in him being a defensive force, but he just will never be the type of guy that can take over a game offensively because he lacks too much

This is where you lose credibility. As much as I like Lebron, he can no way be mentioned in the same breathe with Mike. Mike is about Championships. Period. Lebron hasn't won 1 yet. Until he wins something besides MVP, stop with the comparisons.

From your quote this is the only thing I agree with. He has time to learn all those things but hears the rub, I don't think he has to be a dominant offensive force to take over a game. If he keeps doing what he doing right now and get one or two moves down low. He will do anough to take his team to the next level.

We don't know that Van Gundy didn't tell everyone that. It could have been a Jameer slip up.

Could have been anything as well as a van Gundy gaffe...

I go this route...

Just got back from the bar. What a nutty place that was tonight.

Anyways, congrats to the Lakers. Epic choke job by my Magic. I am a "fight until the end" fan through and through, but this series is pretty much OVER. Still, I expect the next game(s) to be close.

Trevor Ariza was a monster tonight and Fisher showed that clutch experience once again.

Been some pretty good basketball after game 1.

Ok, you had me worried there.

I'm kidding about alot of this stuff. I really could care less about Kobe. If he wins a ring I wouldn't lose any sleep. I'm really a fan of LeBron though. He's too legit to quit

i think just from tonight it proves that he does need to be dominant down low offensively. if it was duncan or shaq or the dream, when the lakers were making a run in the third, they would have gone to them down low and they would have gotten buckets when the rest of the team is struggling offensively. double teams would have come and that would have gotten his three point shooters open looks, if he knew how to pass to them out of a double team, which he doesnt.
