The 2024 QB class

We don't know. The Cowboys haven't drafted a day QB early since Aikman/Walsh years.

We did draft Quincy Carter after we gave up the house for Joey Galloway.

Going into Training Camp with Dak, Trey and a premium pick QB from the 2024 draft would be cool, considering the Cowboys have the best coaching/development group that's been there in a long time.

Every day this class is more interesting to me. I would not at all be surprised to see 10 go in the first round.

I think this is probably my top group, easy first-rounders.

So important yet so off based that the last pick of last years draft is the best quarterback in his class lol. Desmond Ridder and Kenny Pickett…yuck.

Caleb Williams is just so fun to watch. You can see the difference in skillset between him and even veteran NFL QBs right now. He can make so many different types of throws - in the pocket, on the run, side-arm, etc. His footwork and movement in the pocket looks like a seasoned NFL QB vs. college defenses.

Quinn Ewers: comped to Kenny Pickett by one former NFL GM

Riley Leonard: comped to Daniel Jones by private QB coach

Spencer Rattler: Was projected potential first overall pick at one point

Bo Nix: comped to Derek Carr by NFL scouts

JJ McCarthy: potential first round pick according to NFL scouts

Joe Milton: comped to Anthony Richardson by NFL scouts

Michael Penix: comped to Tua Tagovailoa by NFL scouts

Honorable mention: Shedeur Sanders, Jayden Daniels, KJ Jefferson, Jordan Travis

It’s still early, but this class has CRAZY potential.

Shedeur Sanders will be a stud, eventually, IMO. And I'm almost positive Jerral Wayne pulls the trigger on him because of his pedigree and nostalgic tendencies.

Certainly not against it, but the odds dont favor it either. We gotta move and hopefully sooner than later.
