That the key. Sure sign of a good/great draft. Or at least one that has all the potential to be a good/great draft, is drafting a player lower than he was ranked early on that doesn't fill a "need".

I always think back the Emmitt pick. I was thinking at the time that we sucked so bad and were still so early in the rebuilding process, that RB should be our last consideration.
Draft the players that take the longest to develop. OL, DB, LB
And then grab the quicker impact guys like DL and RB when you're further along in the rebuilding process.

A RB in RD 1 in 1990 didn't fit. :D
