Dallas has a much better roster than AZ.

What we don’t have is Kyler Murray and they do. Simple as that.

You forgot to add in got outcoached.

Moore keeps calling plays that take a long time to develop downfield even though teams have 2 safeties deep and the oline is struggling.

Big Mike's clock management has been terrible all season.

Dan Quinn's defense got lit up and couldn't make a stop with over 4 minutes left in the game.

This was a total team loss.

Btw, none of the reasons include the refs.
Let us examine why in these three phases of the game we failed:
OFFENSE:
  • Had 3 dropped passes.
  • Dak’s fumble in the 4th qtr.
  • Terrible run blocking by the OL. (Avg less than 3 yds per rush)
  • Poor pre-snap communication forcing hurried snaps to beat the play clock.
  • Was 3-11 on third down conversions
DEFENSE
  • Gave up 399 yards.
  • Allowed 7 third down conversions including two in the critical last 4 min.
  • Had one sack and no TO’s.
  • Allowed 35 min in TOP.
  • Allowed a backup WR to have a career day including 2 TDs.
  • Forced to use a critical timeout in 3rd qtr that killed us in the end.
  • Had 4 min and some change and the end to force a stop and didn’t get it done.
ST’s
  • Greg “Lou” Zuerleine missed a make-able 43 yard FG in first qtr.
  • Gave up a critical fake punt conversion in the first half on Cards 91 yd drive.
NONE OF THESE REASONS INCLUDE THE REFS. Yes we had some bad calls including that missed fumble….welcome to the NFL! If we hadn’t wasted a timeout earlier we could’ve challenged that.

Let’s all be adults here and admit…we got outplayed in all three phases of the game. That is why we lost.

I disagree Bob. Anger is a complete stud. If I’m signing any FA back it’s him. Like today. What a weapon he is.

Great post as always brother Bob if I could just add a few things that I have seen hold true in the past.
Our defense has much as we glow over it at times tend to get totally gashed when playing from behind forced to defend the run and not able to use its pass rushers to create turnovers.

On the other side of the ball when we get holding penalties and DAC doesn't use his legs to negate them the offense just stalls. Only guy looking good to me was Dalton Schultz.
I have no faith in this kicker or Big Mikes game management when we are playing from behind.
All that said I think the officiating was the least of our problems. Long story short we are having serious trouble competing with playoff level talent and it shows no sign of improving expect a speedy exit from the tournament because I believe it's coming

Easy to say after a loss but I completely disagree.

Most NFL teams are hot garbage. The game is mostly about the QB.

good post, Bullet. I really feel, Dallas D had no clue how good, shifty fast some Card players are. D was caught off guard, never seen Gregory that winded before. ..lol.

No biggie, Quinn will make adjustments. Probably see them again.

3 Huge breaks we didnt get.

Fumble not reviewed.
..throw in 4th. Greg missed FG. (have to make those)

......................still lost by 2 pt.

How many FGs did the Cards miss?

How many holding penalties did the Cards OL have?

How many fake punts did the Cards special teams give up?

How many timeouts did the Cards burn because their coaches were unprepared.

I could go on...but those were a few of the things Dak had to overcome....so I assume with Murray Quarterbacking our team yesterday those things would not have happened...or they would happen and Murray would have overcome them?

Spot on. Kearse made the most amazing int earlier in the year and missed that easy one. We had our chances……sometime that’s how it goes

I chalk this up as a complete team loss. No one stood out except some pressure from our D-line. But, the agenda driven need their go to culprit.

The fact that we dont have a good QB is the reason why we lost yesterday.


Down 8 with the ball and he fumbles which leads directly to 3 points. That was game right there
