They are just massaging the roster. Some guys might go to IR. They have to be put on the roster first then they can go to IR after a day.

So what they do is protect the guys likely to get picked up even if hurt, and expose the guys that likely won't have a market. Not many teams will clamor for Rush or Grier, for example. So put them on waivers and then after a day, one of them gets added back after they shift someone like Tyron Smith to IR.

You've got a few guys going to the IR and the specialists and Rush will be brought back. Only question will be if we churn any at OL and potentially dump someone like Ridgeway to PS in their place, but I'm guessing that this is largely your team.

You see wacky stuff like this all the time across the league when the initial 53s are made. You especially see it when teams have key players injured that they want flexibility with.

It's not the final roster as everyone is telling you. For you to think it is means you aren't paying attention, have no clue what the team is doing, or were trying to troll, just as I said. It's one of those things. Sorry if you're thin skin can't take the truth.
