The 53 man roster is wacky

Its been discussed ad nauseum. In fact every knew they were to do it before they did. We all knew they were going to cut the kickers and LS. And backup QB's were a possibility

Pretty much every journalist on the Dallas beat leaked that they were going to do this even before the last preseason game. So ya " We all knew..."

What an idiot. Always a computer commando out there. My point was simple, even for someone like you...8 WRs, 0 kicker, 1 QB I have never seen this before. I have been a fan for 40 years and have seen lots of "final" rosters. None like this. I was soliciting feedback from others. A clown like you has to take to being rude.

Okay, no clownery and no joking around, just the facts. You haven't seen anything like this before because the rules have changed for this year. The Cowboys are just working the loopholes of the new rules to their advantage. Only players that were on your active roster for at least one day are eligible for the PUP return list. So that's why injured players like Tyron Smith are on the active roster today rather than the PUP list. They get that 24 hours on the active roster. Vested Veterans are not subject to the waiver wire so you can release them to get under the 53-man limit and then after 24 hours, you can move your injured player that you might want to bring back at some time to the PUP desginated to return list and then bring your vested vets back. You just have to make sure you are moving enough players to the PUP list so that you can bring back all the vested veterans you want back. The Cowboys did this with their kicker and ST captain. They were released but will be brought back when at least two injured players are moved to the PUP list sometime today. Sure. I listen to the locked on podcast and those guys both mentioned waiving all 3 back up QBs and said it would be crazy if that happened. Many here feel the same. Yet so many experts on this forum that predict and know everything about the NFL from their iPads. The point of this thread was supposed to be fun yet the know it all losers have to get all personal. It’s really too bad.

Rudely stated but he ain’t wrong
You have to put guys like Tyron and such on the roster, then you move them to IR
The guys they really want back they know how it works and they know they are coming back
It’s nothing new, teams do it every year

Yeah, I thought it was a little unfair to pick on him over his diction. FuzzyWuzzy has been around for a long time. I've had a few rounds with him back in the day. But like most people, if you actually talk to him he's a pretty good guy, really just likes to debate...

I have noticed an overall lack of respect for other members and apparent cliques of posters who have been acting like little cry babies, especially today.

The way I see it, it really is unnecessary to get so personal with people when you're talking about a game. And then others, throw tantrums because they disagree with an opinion, which is what this place is about really.

I'm thinking about changing my avatar to a binky. That way, when I don't reply to the ones insistent on behaving like toddlers, they can just stare at the binky and understand what I mean. I've got better things to do in my life than waste my time on that kind of garbage.
