Just finished listen to Sports talk radio and the Cowboys are being hammered. No Doomsday Defense, Not the NO Name Defense but the 58 minute Defense.

Actually agreed with the callers. but its about time somebody should be looking for a new job, after this loss (coaches) So Bledsoe had a bad game, the Offense has been spotty all year, but the 58minute Defense will lose games for ya, :bang2:

We are only gonna get better we are still a project team 8-8 is a good year for a young developing team

Yep, I heard that too. Unfortunately it is dead on accurate.

58 minute defense that is a joke. If the offense scores more than the time doesn't matter.

Sadly when its the offense fault, and the D gives it up at the end your always gonna blame the defense. Especially since this same crap happened with Washington

while the defense has be remarkable...the cowboys conservative offense letting teams back in games (we should have been up like 21 to 7) and late defensive collapses make us one of the worst teams in professional sports at closing out games. it is unbearable as a fan.

that Pass Interference when it was first and 20 killed us and kept that drive alive...

Aaron Glenn blew that one.. I think if that didnt happen it would of been 3rd and 20..and most likely a punt to come...not a touchdown.

Guess who blew the 2 touchdowns in the MNF game against the Commanders...it was Aaron Glenn's man primarly both times...he blew it.

2 games that he has had mental errors at the end of the game, and we lost both.

im not in the cowboy defending mood right now but i seem to remember henry had a penalty on that play as well...so even in glenn doesnt get the PI henry still screwed up. and i believe it was aaron glenn's game saving INT in week one that won the game for us. ok enough defending them.

Huh????????

I don't see the original post, but I'm guessing he meant we only gave up two touchdowns in our opponent's last 44 possessions. It was one touchdown in 43 possessions until the end of the game. :(

We should be more worried about the 10 minute offense, not the 58 minute defense that played their ***** off.

Seems to me that the Cowboys have to win a game six different times just to get the victory. That's too much to ask.

I am very much worried about the offense, that still does not excuse the defense from shutting the door.

No pass for the offense, I agree.

Glenn made, ONE bad play, blaming the D for today's loss is remarkable
Agreed. Cortez makes that 28 yarder - we win. If Bledsoe just throws the ball out of bounds and takes us into overtime instead of throwing the INT, we go into overtime and I like our chances of winning.

Defense may have given up a late TD but this "L" isnt on the D. If the offense does what its supposed to we win this one, hands down. If I was told our defense would only give up 13 points to one of the leagues top offenses, I bet my next paycheck we win.

58 minute D - that makes my blood boil -will they mention the turnovers our D created and the turnovers our O gave up?

SO... Glenn has one INT at the end of the Chargers game, (which was a broken up 4th down play anyhow) and gets burned twice at the end of the Commanders game that our defense domintated, and gets a crucial PI call on a first and 20 play which drive ended in a touchdown.

I am not saying the defense lost this, this topic is about the 58 min defense and the inability to stop offenses at the end of the game and I see a common denominator here. Glenns mental mistakes in the last minutes of those 2 games has cost us dearly. And a good play at the end of the chargers game (that we didnt dominate) helped seal it for us.

I like the guy, however, he has given up a lot of plays at the end of 2 games that our Defense shut down.

I'm not blaming the defense for the loss. But it's uncanny how teams seem to walk right thru us in desperate late-game passing situations, particularly after being completely dominant for the first 57+ minutes of the games.

If you hadn't watched these games, you certainly wouldn't believe it.

Sorry, but I have been on the LAX defensive playcalling in the wanning moments of the 4th Quarter for a while now, and the defense is certainly not to blame for today's loss, it was the conservative playcalling which pretty much started 10 minutes into the 4th quarter.

The defense was great, Zimmer called a great game, and dont forge, when they scored the Touchdown to tie it up, Roy Williams was blitzing from the right side, so Zimmer was definately being aggressive which I love.

They shutdown a very potent offense. It's not their fault arcells and company decided to roll over and play dead and call ONE Off-Tackle Run after the other from 10 Minutes onward in the 4th Quarter.

This one is on Peyton, Parcells and Bledsoe
