I did this last year and it was kind of fun. So I figured I'd bring it back. Once again I will go Pac 10 homer. Feel free to pick any conference and run with it.
1. Cam Jordan, DE, California, 6'4", 290. If we were to get him I hope it would be in a trade down. But IMO he is the best Pac 10 player in this class, so he is the only choice in the first round.
2. Rahim Moore, FS, UCLA, 6'1", 195. I'd love to grab an OT, but other than Smith from USC who is grading out 1st round, there just aren't any. Pac 10 homer or not, this would be a solid pick for Dallas in this round. Moore can flat out play.
3. Mason Foster, ILB, Washington, 6'1", 240. You will find him listed as a 4-3 OLB on most scout services. I do not care. This guy can play anywhere on the LB line and against Oregon State was a spy on JaCquizz Rodgers and shut him down. Smart, aggressive football player who is driven to win.
4. Sione Fua, NT, Stanford, 6'2", 310. Can get bigger and is a run stuffer already. A guy I know calls him "The Samoan Wall." I don't even knwo if he is Samoan, but I like the nickname. A team leader and a qulaity kid who is very smart.
5. Owen Marecic, FB, Stanford, 6'0", 245. A bowling ball who comes to play every play with his lunch pail.
6. JacQuizz Rodgers, RB, Oregon State, 5'7", 190. I want a dedicated Return guy from the #3 RB spot. I love this kid. He is versatile and explosive and makes people miss. Don't let his size fool you, he is no pushover.
7. Kristofer O'Dowd, C, USC, 6'5", 305. He dropped down a few rounds after the Senior Bowl, but he is still a good long term project. If this is the best we can do on OL in the Draft you better know I address OL in FA.
