Good start to the season last night. Stan and Philip getting into it was interesting. From the up coming previews that come on after the show this season looks like Philip and Elizabeth are getting very close to getting caught and have nowhere to go. Interesting to see Philip's handling of the bully's too. I remember him talking about it briefly last season.

Yea, previews can be misleading, but it looks like the might actually get their covers blown and have to hightail it out the Country......I wouldnt be surprised if this even the last season (someone feel free to correct me if the show has already been renewed for 2017, Im too lazy to look it up lol)

I watched the first season and part of the second. I was getting irritated with the husband/wife relationship being off and on and back and forth. After that I just kind of lost track of it for whatever other reason.

This has been a really good season. I just watched the latest episode tonight and uh...

NINA, NOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I felt just like she looked when she heard the result of her appeal. I was surprised and before you can even really think about the ramifications of it, boom. Lights out.

Just brutal.

As soon as they showed the scientist with her I knew it was lights out, even though that part of the sequence was a dream. After all it is the Russia, no way were they just going to let that guy walk. Will be interesting to see how long it takes the son to find out his Dad knew she was to be killed.

Looks like things are about to get serious and finally start to move forward with Martha, I am going to miss her. lol

Yea The Nina scene was pretty wicked even though I saw it coming a mile away......Well, I knew theyd execute her by shooting her in the back of the head sneakily like that anyway....what actually surprised me was the official Death decree, I guess the USSR got a tad bit more civilized towards the end lol.......Still, " The Sentence will be carried out Shortly" and then literally 2 seconds later, Dead.....that was just crazy, especially when you think about how our to be executed convicts wait 10-20 years or more to be put to death........

I'm not sure Oleg's dad knew. I think she was just really unlucky and her execution order came down before he could pull the strings to do anything about it.

And yeah, I think Martha's situation is about to get pretty scary. Stan is basically tailing her now. It's only a matter of time before she leads him right to "Clark's" apartment. Stan already thinks Philip was cheating on Elizabeth with his ex-wife, but if he follows Martha to this secret apartment and catches a glimpse of Philip there? Maaaaaan.....

My guess is that things become too risky and Martha is basically told that she has to leave the country. I don't see how she would ever agree to that so either she realizes how shattered her life is and ends it herself or it's done for her.

As much as I like this show, I would actually be happy for this one to end this season...Im hopin all is lost and they have to hightail it back to Russia, I wanna see Paige and Henry react to suddenly being Soviet Citizens and having to learn Russian and the culture etc......I know they wont show that cause that makes for "boring TV" but I sure would love it........but also with the fall of the USSR coming soon thatd be a fun plotline to see as well, returning home after decades in America and re-educating your children in the ways of Communism, only to have it come crashing down in the early 90's........Other than that it would also be cool to see what happens if theyre still in America when the USSR collapses.....but i dont see that happenin unless they skip a few years and get replacement actors for Henry and Paige....The show could maybe last another season or 2 but definitely not another 5 or whatever.....

I'm pretty sure they have at least one more season. I don't know past that. I do know that the ratings are pretty bad for the show, but FX has said that they'll stick with it until the story is told. So, it isn't going to be like some shows that experience ratings success and they just keep the hamster wheel spinning. They'll tell the story they want to tell and end it.

I'm guessing 2 more seasons, but that's just me guessing.

Edit: Here's what the show producer said about it right before season 4 started:

"Whether it takes a fifth season or a fifth and sixth season to tell the rest of the story, I think we'll discover as we start to dig into next season's work, which will happen as we dig out of this season. ... We'll do what's right for the storytelling."

I think it could have been timing

Or

They denied Olegs dads request. Send that message.

She had her second chance and blew it. There wasn't going to be a third.

They quieted that noise down right quick! Lol

Martha has staying power.
She is in the process of showing her IQ and cunning... She will start to play FBI... Actually she has been cool for some time with them.

I watched the first two seasons, but it really started to get boring. I felt like I was watching the same episode every time.

I thought for sure Stan was going to hit redial and hear Clark's voice while he was in Martha's apartment.

I never thought a TV show could get me rooting for Soviet spies in the US. Good stuff!

I'm betting the end of this show isn't near. It will be at least a few more seasons and will go into the Soviet Union starting to crumble. Their resources to spies will become more limited and Phillip will question the efforts more. Then it will go into the ending of the USSR.

Stan "FBI guy" Beeman is duh-umb!

I think Pastor Tim is the Russian "groomer" for Paige. (I know.. I know... they were gonna whack him)
