With the prices fans pay to support this sport, I say get what you can get.

has anyone used their PS3 to get sunday ticket? was wondering if it is jut as good as on the tv? any info would be good thanks

Yes I have, and no it's not even close to what you get on television. I pretty much just gave it away last year.

You are better off paying the $199 rather than the $149 for quality purposes.

I to am signing up for this package. I spoke w/ the rep last night. This package is goog through July 8th.

Basically 30.00 / month and free DVR and free NFL Ticket for the year w/ 12 month commit.

On the website it says 24 month commit.

And after you select the options such as receivers and what not, it shows as like 50 some dollars a month.

That's funny, every time I call and cancel service to get ST for free they say they are sorry and they will miss me as a customer.

I have the Al Bundy curse....

I called, asked for cancellations, and they took $20 off of my package deal for the next 12 months as well as offering me Sunday Ticket for half-off. Took maybe 5 minutes of my time.

called in today and ordered the premium with the ps3 on the go and redzone...no 12mo comitment but had to pay $149....getting $20 off for a few months so should be a wash...either way gotta have ST.

Also through my highspeed cable internet ps3 looks fine enough... not hd but above sd. I watch other games on it through a seporate lcd.

I hope you guys that are unwilling to pay money for something you value don't complain when your friends and family are laid off and can't get a job.

I'm on the verge of getting laid off. I'm going to wait until a week before the season and tell them I either have to get it free or I can't get it at all.

If they won't give it to me, that's no sweat off my back. I'll just cancel it. It'll make my decision that much easier, and at least I won't have that expense to consider.

Sorry to hear that...I got laid off two weeks ago and had to maneuver myexpenses around. I got a ton of discounts from dtv even a onetime $50 credit toprevent me from cutting them off...with Sunday ticket half off and in 4payments and all the discounts ill b paying roughly $40...got a renter in thestudio too so he pitches in.

Things will turn for the better...

I hope you both land on your feet. I was joking about lying to DTV about being laid off just to get a discount, but reading your posts reminds me that it's no laughing matter.

The last couple of years I've called in and threatened to cancel and directv has given me Sunday ticket for free. It seems with their power price they are onto it now by not caving in. What I was able to do though was play the same bluff and ask about any promotions they could give me because other providers were mailing me all sorts of good stuff. They ended up giving me a year of Showtime and Starz as well as Sunday ticket for $69.99, as well as two $10 dollar credits to my account. Credits could be used for monthly payment or movies of my choice. Also if I switched to u-verse Internet it would only be $19.99 a month. A huge cut from my roadrunner Internet which is $55.00 a month. Good luck.

You accidentally put baseball on one of those TV's. Though I'd let you know so you could avoid this in the future.

I bought a new house and switched to cable so I don't lose my service every time it rains hard, but I'm going to miss getting sunday ticket. I got it for free the last 4 years being a DTV subscriber. Of course, even in Indiana it's usually only half or less of the Cowboys games that aren't local for me/primetime, so I'll just have to hit the sports bar for the others I suppose.
