Don't look now folks. Miles Austin is drawing double teams. Finally we have that WR back that draws attention and allows others to get open. The success of Witten and RW11 tonight can be attributed to the special attention given to Austin. It's a beautiful thing to see. Not only is he soaking up double teams... Dude is also scoring TDs. Dare I say it? I know there are plenty of others potentially considered worthy of this title. Austin for MVP? If he keeps this up they'll be hard pressed to find an excuse for not giving it to him.

Speaking of Explosive WRs... That Ogletree guy just makes plays when given the opportunity.

A bit off topic but... Choice is one helluva Wildcat orchestrator. :D

Most of Roy's plays had nothing to do with single coverage. They were shorter routes where a safety wouldn't have any effect on the play.

I'm kind of pissed at OScan

dude is always where the ball is supposed to be, but he never gets his head turned around

he could have had an INT tonight

He reminds me so much of Newman. He blankets the receiver so well he's not able to make a play on the ball. Even the way he walks and his body type is so similar to Newman. He's like a little clone. He'll never have a ton of INTs unless he changes his style of play. I hope he doesn't, though.

The best part is that he doesn't pout when he isn't thrown to because he is covered. I think Tony tried to force the ball to TO last year to try to keep him happy. It definitely affected his read progression.

Not sure what's going on here.

WR's performing.

Its the same WR group as last year. Almost. We added Olgetree. Apparently, he is the difference.

I'm loving our WR core... Austin, Williams, Crayton , Olgetree and Hurd are big receivers who can get down the field.

he's young, so I'm betting that he's just not reading the receiver's body language quite right

What? You didn't read my report out of training camp? I told you that WRs would be a strength for this team.

I think the INTs will come for OScan as he gets more accustomed with playing at the NFL level. The talent is there. For now, I'm happy with OScan's blanket coverage and the stellar play by Jenkins.

I'm sorry.

Must have missed it.

(My reply was more about saying Olgetree replacing Owens..... losing Owens, and the offense is still clicking).

Well, you should have. ;) I even called Ogletree out and said he looked really good and that Romo was connecting with him and he'd very clearly make the team. Not to mention I called Austin our best receiver. :D

There was even a fourth guy there by the time he got to the end zone. Dude is surreal after the catch.

What's the minimum number of catches to qualify for all-time YAC in a single season? Miles has to be contending for this this thing, right? Where's Adam when you need him...
