I've been living in Toronto for the last seven years (with a one-year 'sabbatical' in Brussels a few years back.) Before that, I grew up in Kingston, Ontario.

LA can suck. Or it can be great. Pockets of LA are awesome. I lived in LA for 30 years - but I never want to live there again. Northern California is where it is at.
