The Bears could potentially rest their starters against the Eagles

Taking our game aside, if the Giants beat the Lions (difficult) and the Packers beat the Steelers the Bears would have nothing to play for on Sunday night, so that means that if that were to happen and we lose to the Commanders, the Eagles would probably be playing the Bears backups for the division title.

I know that if we lose to Washington we don´t even deserve to be in the playoffs (not that we do right now) but that scenario would be awful.

Could be one ugly game if Philly also decides they don't want it. Can NBC re-flex? :)

Yep, if we beat the Commanders and that happens it would be a battle of backups on sunday night, NBC must be delighted they flexed this game and let go of Ravens - Patriots.

No way we don't lose the season on the final day of the season. I can't believe I'm saying it, but Stephen A. Smith is right. The Cowboys tease you and tease you and make you believe... and then, they let you down. We're gonna look great against the Commanders. Our best game of the season. The win is gonna be so convincing that we're all re-inspired with hope. Then we're gonna get to Week 17 against Philly for all the marbles... and we're gonna lay a goose egg. All the ingredients of a debacle. Horrible defense, horrible play calling, horrible time management, bad drops by Dez, and boneheaded INTs by Romo.

likewise. i'm ready to sacrifice a playoff beatdown to SF/NO in order to get rid of the REAL cancer in this locker room.

Yeah, so we can replace him with Lane Kiffin (or someone just as ridiculous). Then life will be perfect.

*Really?* You'd prefer to see us lose the division and not get the home playoff game just to see the HC who's not even the real problem in Dallas in the first place get canned? Give me the extra football, please.

Don't you people sleep? Who/What is the real problem in Dallas?

The last three seasons I've been watching it's been the porous pass defense. And not the OL/playcalling/HC/GM/lack of a running game. But I don't understand why people find the obvious answer unsatisfying.
