It just dawned on me. For the first time in a long time.

No Carter vs Hutch.

No Henson vs Romo.

No 20 page threads dissecting every recap of every practice.

I miss Carter vs Hutch.

Every day brought new hope, aged arguements, and endless entertainment.

They were replaced with "Barber vs Jones" and "Ellis should shut up and play" threads.

Oh and if you change your settings, those 20-pagers shorten up significantly...

True, but unlike Carter/Hutch and Henson/Romo, Jones and Barber will both play and contribute, it's pretty much unanimous Ellis should **** and play and ignore never worked because not everyone would, and everyone quotes.;)

Also veiled charges of racism.

It was a scene.

I didn't mean the ignore feature. I meant the settings where you can change the number of posts available on a page to 40. A 120-post thread appears as 5 pages. Great stuff.

Hutch and Carter contribute, it was the quality of the contribution that was debated. Same as with Barber and Jones.

I ignore all Ellis threads. There are 9 other mods on staff, they can cover them... lol

To add a few more we are not seeing.
50 threads a day about good vs. evil of TO.
No bring in Ricky Ray for QB threads.
No get rid of Mike Zimmer threads.

The get rid of Zimmer threads have been replaced by the Parcells was responsible for everything from Flozell's hangnail to Roy's broken shoelace threads.

And an equal number of nothing was his fault, and we will be doomed with a pushover like Wade threads.

I'm missing the nothing was his fault threads - I haven't seen a single one.

But when some express the belief that not EVERYTHING was his fault, some take that to mean that they think nothing was his fault, and that's pretty poor logic.

As for me, I've expressed many times that I thought PArcells was predictable and he had stagnated and the team had stagnated under him, but that I also thought that the players bear some of the responsibility for the poor play. For that I've been called a "Parcells Lover" and Parcells Apologist" ........

I've also seen only one thread that expressed the idea that Phillips could be too much of a pushover, and in that lone thread the responses almost unanimously laughed at that notion.

You mean we aren't?

This year we get the sky is falling posts.

Is Romo going to get broke in half?
Is it a bad idea to start Romo with both starting tackles out?
Is practice too easy?
Is practice in the air conditioning going to hurt the team?
Is playing on turf a mistake in preseason?
............
............

Ahhh - there actually are more threads that suggest Phillips is too easy.

These are clearly reaching for something to discuss.

To the credit of the posters on here most recognize that many of these questions are ridiculous.

Anything by Munchis was side-splitting with hilarity. Sort of like JakeToDallas on the old DMN boards.

I suppose he's munching on himself these days.

As a close second: the Prophet, and his "brother"...

They were the ones primarily responsible for the Dallas needs Ricky Ray threads and even a few Dallas needs Tim Couch threads. Yuck. LARGE
