Yup. He certainly compounded his problems by lying.

If he lied to the police, it would seem likely that he lied to the Cowboys too.

Speculation, of course, but it is easy to imagine somebody in KD's position swearing up and down (to the Cowboys organization) that he was just coming home from Shreveport, minding his own business ... perhaps using phrases like "please believe me."

KD has put himself in a tough spot. If he plays well, though, I'd guess that he'll be tolerated.

If he did nothing to instigate the shooting, it is nobody's business who he was with or where he was coming from. It could have just as well been you who were driving to work at 5:00am or driving through the night on a trip and a question he did not really have to answer if you ask me.

He should have just not answered the question, but if he did that, people would still just doubt him the same and say he was with a hooker when, as far as I know that has never been reported.

I do recall you and I agreed about KD. A lot of us caught some flack that Sunday and the days following the shooting for questioning KD or even suggesting that something was fishy about his story.

What was funny was it was suggested by some that you weren't a true Cowboy fan or you were some kind of self-righteous jerk if you dared question a Cowboy player's integrity. I said at the time it was the Sean Taylor/Skins fan blindness all over again, except this time Cowboy fans were the ones blinded by their loyalty.

BTW, you need to use another one of your drawings for your sig pic. Surely you've cooked up something with Tuna and T.O., haven't you?

Who is under investigation here , Keith Davis or the person shooting him? No other crime has been reported that we know of. Has anybody claim to be knived, punched/beaten or shot at by Keith Davis?

Under a normal road rage/carjacking incident the focus would be on what may have happenned on the road or at the very most moments preceding it. If that said person was at a place and made some enemies there, I guess they would be obligated to tell that occurence, but if just a random road rage or carjacking it does not have any bearing on the incident.

Davis did not even get the benefit of the doubt before it was found out he was lying!!!
