Its a very good arthouse movie. Not a good horror movie IMO

I get what they were trying to do, and enough people loved it that it worked in spite of my opinion.

I just couldnt connect

I'll give it a shot, I've always watched scary movies to laugh. All the slasher movies started when I was in high school so we'd get sauced up and go and laugh our butts off at people that actually got scared. The only time any movie scared me even a little was this scene

I like the Phantasm movies...even though they are cheesy as all get out.
I think I like the second one the best...nice car.

I saw the first one late night at home on HBO or whatever by myself a few years after it came out and when that dude showed up in the mirror it scared me pretty good but when that mirror broke I was like yes that was awesome. The movie itself was more weird than scary.
