Call me stupid: But ther is to many stars aligning to belive this crap....
Me thinks the NFL is influencing the game........DO NOT FORGET the owner and the leage are in it for the money not the hype,,, its all business just like the players say.............Do you really belive all the NFL league hype............bottom line its about the money

If this SB isn't the poster boy for everything wrong with Free Agency, Salary cap and parity, I don't know what is.
No great players, no superstar's, nothing spectacular. Two teams getting there being the least of all evil's.
I haven't been so bored in all my life. Like watching a Div. 1AA championship game.
We've been conned and fooled folks. It's a sad, sad state of affairs when the best team in the NFL is THESE Indianapolis Colts.
What a joke..........................

I would have liked to seen the game without all the rain. Have to wonder if it would be a different game all together.
But...there were also games prior to the cap where one team should not have ever been in the Superbowl.
Where one team would just flat out kill, not just stats but score wise as well, another team.
Seems so odd how the AFC had taken over the NFC.
Remember back in the day the best game, between the best two teams, was always the NFC Championship and then they would go on, for the most part, and kill the AFC team.
Now it seems like it is reversed.

nyc;1359693 said:Superbowl XXVII (93' Cowboys vs Bills) had a record 9 turnovers. More than Superbowl V.
That's inaccurate then, the Bills turned it over a record nine times. Dallas had a punt blocked and fumbled in garbage time late in the fourth with a third string runningback, I think it is a stretch to consider a blocked punt a turnover.Kangaroo;1359699 said:11 that I counted

Kangaroo;1359634 said:OK I do not get this about the turn overs
Look through out the SuperBowl history they are litter with turnovers
Generally by one team
Come on other than being a Dallas fan and enjoying it The 1st time we played the Bills it was a blow out and the Bills turned the ball over a lot In fact lets look at that game turn overs it was Boring for everyone other than Dallas Fan
Bills interceptions 4 fumbles 8 lost 5
Dallas interceptions 0 fumbles 4 lost 2
So 11 Total Turnovers in are arse kicking of the Bills
Colts and Bears
Colts interceptions 1 fumbles 2 lost 2 (Botched FG)
Bears interceptions 2 fumbles 4 lost 3
So 8 Total Turnovers
So the whole Turnover sloppy game is not even as bad as some of the SuperBowls we played in
wayne_motley;1359927 said:You nailed it yourself though....it's about both teams turning the ball over so much, especially the fumbles....fumbles bother me more than interceptions...the game was poorly played by either team, and if either team had protected the ball, they could have won easily. The Bears were fortunate to get the ball in Colt territory a few times, only to give it right back.
When one team dominates the other, I don't really crack on the team that starts making lots of turnovers because they are passing more into coverage and trying to make things happen on runs, etc.
Last night I found neither team impressive overall....Except for the opening KO, I don't even think there were any memorable plays by the two offenses.

I think the Ravens/Giants Super Bowl was worse.
But I did quickly lose interest in this game....thanks to Prince.
