The Case for FA Trade/Boldin?

A 2nd round pick, Greg Ellis, and a receiver might get it done.

They just released a LB (Travis LaBoy) and could use a vet LB like Ellis. Plus trading Ellis would create the necessary cap room to sign Boldin.

I like our receivers as well - I just do not think that we can be effective at WR if Williams goes down.

I don't think there is any chance Boldin comes to Dallas, but it is tempting. I just don't trust anyone from this group.

Was actually hoping we would've sent Ellis and a #2 for Boldin........however it seems as if it was all a pipe dream considering the Cards were just screwing w/ everyone.......
